Dead by Daylight should no longer be affected by an outage. Players logging into the game between September 26 3PM ET and September 28th 3PM ET will receive 1M Bloodpoints as compensation.

Escape Challenge

Hey devs, any particular reason that DC's count as kills for the purposes of the 4k challenge for killers, but if the killer disconnects, it doesn't count as an escape for the purposes of the Escape as Claudette challenge? We got 4 gens done and then the killer disconnected.

    It's probably not intended that DCs should count as kills. My guess would be it's just a funny quirk in the way the game processes disconnects with regards to how they affect other players.

    Yeah, maybe the killer perk just checks for escapes=0.

    It probably has something to do with the way it affects the Pip and Bloodpoint stuff at the end, since a DC gives the killer a "Leaver's Bonus".

    That or it's what DWolfAlpha said above me^
