They are just new kind of cosmetics, something you can put on Survivor's belt or a Hook if you're a Killer.

They should give us something like more bloodpoints if you're doing totems / generators / chasing / sacrifice / be chased (1% ou 5% of bonus), something like that will be good.
Charms are useless...

They aren't useless. Because cosmetics are more visible than these charms, clearly.
