Why do we have Ranks?

At Rank 1 im literally still waiting for a lobby even after 40 MINUTES! There is no reward for being at rank 1 and i cant even play the game because of the ######### matchmaking? It was already garbage before this update, but now its completely DOOMED! Why the hell should i have to wait more than 10 minutes to go into a match that will last for less than 5?????? #########!!!!!?

This makes no sense, its ruining my day and makes me want to simply stop playing DbD and go play something else that i dont have to waste my little free time on!

    DbD is the only "exclusively online" game that i know of that doesnt kick u out of the game menu after a new patch release, that only shows how much effort the devs put on their game!

    Mannaged to play a match after 70 mins of waiting time agains a 3v1, they are facing my Nurse....
