This wouldn't prove a balance issue. This would also be pointless. They're aware balance issues exist. The problem is trying to balance the game around massive skill gaps. I know everyone is obsessed with what happens at rank one. But the player base is mostly not rank one. Balancing around a small minority is not a good idea.

Hopefully after this turns into a repeat of the Hag game from a few years back we'll finally get some needed changes. It wasn't until that game that they finally realized how bad flashlights were back then.
Tbh though, after how bad that game went back then I couldn't see this ever happening again.

Tbh the game pretty balanced, what turns the tides are items and such for example mori and insta heals.
I like them i to the fame but I d like them to have overall less influence for both sides obv

I wish they could see some of my rank 1 solo games, i've had rank 13-18 survivors who were better at the game. Now tell me how you plan on balancing that?

Forcing the devs to face rank 1s wouldn't actually prove anything. You could have the devs face a rank 1 Legion, and it would just make Legion look OP..

That's exactly why killers like Spirit, Nurse, Huntress exist in the game, because they're often bad at low ranks and can be used to their potential at high ranks. Killers that allow for good play and reward the skill of the person playing it. Balance of those killers aside it isn't bad for the game. The problem is when the devs sit back and decide to balance this game by looking at a piece of paper and seeing that x killers kill rate is too high, so they bring the killers that use those things down to the level of basic m1 killers. I don't really agree with that but I also don't play the game anymore so I don't particularly care.
I'm sure it's not an easy thing to try and balance, of course. It's kind of like watching one of the top killers/survivors and listening to what they say and they think when often times they're simply in another world even from your average red rank killer/survivor. So there's even a gap at red ranks themselves.

In my opinion, some things should change depending on which rank you are on. For example, and this is just an idea; hex skill checks and great skill checks should be removed if you are a red rank. Also some add ons and items should become unavailable if you are a red rank survivor and a red rank killer.
Maybe not the best ideas in the world, but I think it's a good idea that some game mechanics change depending on rank.

This would solve nothing. People would just go back to lobby dodging until they found their friends. You wont get as many 4mans but you would stil have them playing together. I dont get why SWF has such a bad name. The majority of SWFs I've seen are way overly altruistic and will dive the hook to steamroll their death. I've very rarely seen any that act like untra elite swat teams. And even then they typically take a couple of hits to try to stop a hook which seems like a fair trade imho
