the killer main crying about how the Survivor life is painful

If you take ruin into account then..
You on average get 8 skill checks every generator you do. Because every second a skill check has an 8% chance of appearing. Missing a great skill check wastes 7 seconds of the gen. Meaning you waste 35 seconds on average with ruin up for every gen you do. On total that's an average of 115 seconds which is still less than 120 seconds of the hook stage. You also have to take into account
Did ruin get cleansed
How long was the chase between the camper and survivor
How long it took the camper to search around the map for the survivor
Can the survivor hit greats
How many SC did the survivor even get.
So even with ruin surviving a game against a camper is still pretty easy.
You talked about thanatophobia
Thanatophobia on a camper. Basically only one person is injured the entire game if the killer camps so that 4% of gen regressions ain't much and is actually very very minuscule.
Again same goes for dying light. If the killer is a camper chances are he only has 1 hook the entire game if he camped. That 3% is even worse than thanato.
There are ways you can guess a killer is camping
Maybe nobody is injured for a period of time
The terror radius hasn't popped up
If the survivor waves his arms on the hook signifying "hey it's a camper"
But again even if you don't know the killer also had to spend a lot of time too
Looping
Searching
Hitting
Breaking and vaulting
Going to the hook
Hooking/picking up
Whereas survivors can spawn directly on top of gens and just get to work exactly at the start of the trial. You might say "but what if hex skillchecks just keep coming?" That's rng. Try hitting great sc as best as you can. There are also many times where you won't get much skill checks at all. use a tactic many dbd players do. Everytime you get a skill check and you fail, get off the gen and wait until the sparks go out. While it doesn't do anything it does prevent more skill checks coming while the gen progress is stopped for a couple seconds.
So after the guy dies 3 gens have already probably been completed which leave 3 to do only 2 gens. The process repeats. Killer has to loop for x amount of time and i can't stress how important loops are. If you are any good at looping you can loop a killer for more than 3 minutes. The killer downs the survivor. Killer wastes time picking up and going to a hoom and hooking the survivor. Also loses time hitting the survivor and breaking pallets and vaulting. While the last 2 other survivors are busy working on the last 2 gens while ruin MIGHT be up.

If you try to play "fun" as a killer on console in red ranks, then you're shooting yourself in the foot when you get demolished by try hard SWFs. Survivors think it's all fun and games gen rushing until they force the killer to use "unfun" tactics to slow the game down just a little bit.

The thing is, that 115 seconds you're talking about is for ONE generator, not 5, and 3 survivors can't do 5 gens if each gen takes them 115 seconds. If each gen takes them 115 seconds, then that means that there will still be 2 gens left assuming they do one each. Thanataphobia and Dying Light, as I said, yes, they will only have 4 and 3%, but the thing is, killers run multiple slow down perks now, all together. I've had people with Thanataphobia, Dying Light, Pop, AND Ruin before. I only listed the maximum possible speed you could do a generator with ruin in play, and again, if the killer is camping, you don't have time to look for Ruin. If you spawn on it, then you're lucky, but otherwise, if the killer is camping, searching for Ruin will just make sure that person dies and then he can go on to the next easily.
If a survivor is waving their arms it doesn't always mean the killer is camping. I wave my arms when no one's coming to get me and there are 3 people on gens far off from me and I know I'm gonna end up going into second stage if I don't get their attention. There are different uses of waving your arms. Some survivors wave them just to wave them. If you don't know the killer is camping, he didn't spend any EXTRA time than he would have ensuring that person on the hook dies. You would and that allows him to move on to the next target he camps, creating AT LEAST a 2 dies scenario, which is their idea of balance. So how are you PUNISHING a camper by giving them a draw if in the BEST case scenario, only 2 will get out? I've already established that even if 80 second gens were possible, the survivor on the hook would still die before the other 2 gens were done. Survivors waste time in games before they know it's a camper, and in some cases even when it is a camper, but even if they did not, if the killer got his hook, you'd have to have already done 50% of 2 gens and immediately start working on the next gen(with no travel time) to beat 120 seconds of hook stages. But again, you're gonna try to unhook the person if you don't know it's a camper. No one's gonna assume just because they don't have a heartbeat he's camping, because he could be chasing someone else. Most will verify it first. Otherwise you're just leaving someone on the hook to die for no reason. But yeah, the killer did "waste time" chasing that first survivor, but sometimes you just end up in a bad position on a super unsafe gen just to go down super quick because there's no safe areas around you.
There's a reason a guy said he camped all the way to rank 1 and it worked. You also didn't seem to have any reply for my mention of the guy bringing Monstrous Shrine, Agitation, Iron Grasp, and Ruin which causes the person they're camping to die even faster. Sure, that might never happen again, but we every survivor was working on gens hardcore that game and no one got out.

There's only a single reason I don't play survivor more than killer and it's the difference in bloodpoint gains. Once you can get as many bloodpoints as survivor, I'm going to be playing survivor like crazy and enjoy the benefits brought because Behavior doesn't have what it takes to balance swf.

The 115 seconds is for each gen. If the survivor is on a hook getting camped by a killer then 3 gens can be all done by then the survivor is killed. Or even way before the survivor is killed because of the factors i listed on my previous reply. again even with multiple slow down perks its pretty iseless if you only get 1 stack of it. 1 stack of thanato and dying light together is just 7% regression. That's under 10 seconds which isn't all that good. You wasted 2 perk slots just to buy around 8 seconds of your game if you dont count ruin. Pop goes the weasel is only going to be used once before the survivor dies and that's even assuming you're doing a gen nesr a survivor. If the killer is camping with ruin all he did was add 35 seconds. If you know you can cleanse under 35 seconds you technically helped do gens faster because 35 seconds was shaved off from the other survivors. And even if you can't get ruin in time to get that shave, you dont really need to get ruin cleansed in the first place. Remember 120 secs is less than 115 which can get 3 gens done assuming you're going against good survivors. Waving your arms was an old tactic used by streamers back when dbd was its early stage. Again i have to list my factors you didn't take into much consideration. No good team will have 2 die against a camper. Because
1. The killer had to look around the map to find a survivor which takes a lot of time when survivors can spawn right on top of a gen and start working.
2. The killer has to chase the survivor which can be an eternity if the survivor is very good at looping.
3. The killer has to vault, break pallets, pick up, hook, and hit the survivor.
If the survivor is afk with a hook in front of you, you have to hit twice which is 8 seconds. Then you have to pick up and hook the survicor which will take 5.5 seconds. In total an afk survivor with a hook in front of you will take 13.5 seconds just to get him into the hook. By then 1/8th of 3 gens would be done. And this is if the survivor is even afk. If the survivor was actually loop good, run, and abuse god loops then yeah you can tell its waay too much time a killer is wasting. All of this combined with my factors above is much much much more time than going to the hook and checking if the killer is camping. Again you punish the camper by giving him one kill. If he camps and gets 2 kills somehow then that means you guys just couldn't loop and stealth around good enough. You punish him by making him depip, if he camps his chaser would drain, he only has 1 kill and he got gen rushed so all his emblems won't even go near a gold or even silver.
No it is possible. 3 gens can get done in 80 seconds. You gotta remember this is a 1v4. 1 person on the hook, 3 others on gens. In 80 seconds 3 gens will get completed while they can get the last 2 gens 50% completed with the remaining time. Nobody with common sense would unhook a survivor being camped unless they can body block for the gates or they have BT. Yes sometimes you're in a bad position but the killer has to hit you twice, you can sprint off to another safe area of the map by then. Should i even talk about perks? DH, DS, SB, and many other second chance perks can be just waaay to much for a 1v4.
If the killer is chasing someone else the survivor can run away from the hook. Otherwise it wouldn't be considered camping if the killer went off to chase someone else not even near the hook. Again 1v4. I can't stress enough how many people forget dbd is a 1v4. You can absolutely get 3 gens done in 80 seconds against a camper. There was also a time where a team known as the "depip squad" depiped more than 70 killers out of 80 due to pure gen rush. Also i must have forgotten about the build you mentioned. Iron grasp, a perk that is purely to get someone to a hook as well as agitation. Monsterous shrine is probably the 2nd worst perk in the game behind insidious. If i remember correctly the percentage of monsterous shrine to drain the hook meter is by 7%. Which is minuscule. Next is ruin. While it does buy time. On average 115 seconds for 3 gens, and another 115 for the remaining 2. Thats a total of only 230 seconds which is only a little more than 3 minutes the ENTIRE game. And that's not mentioning how much time the killer loses himself. Up to minutes mainly because of pure looping. Survivors sti have more than enough time to gen rush against a basement build ruin camping killer.
