Did Evan kill his father for framing him, for the Macmillan estate massacre?
Based on this cutscene it seems to make sense. What do you guys and gals think?

I think it's a likely outcome. However, I think what lead to that was the way the miners probably reacted. Its said that he was friends with some of them, so after he was framed for that incident, they likely hated him and wanted nothing to do with him. This would of led to a detoriating mental state perfect for the entity. The rest of the story is yet to be unlocked, but that's my prediction.

Well, many cosmetics refer to the Trapper as a loyal and good son. The cutscene plus lore paragraphs suggest otherwise. I'm thinking he has some form of Stockholm Syndrome but we will have to wait and see.
