Does a new version of a Map count as a New Map?

It's the same as Pale Rose and Grim Pantry. They are the same map just a different version?


I have been looking too much into the last teaser and considered some of the leaked code that says "Tomb" and went all the way back to the old "First Cut" Trailer where the father of Rin said something about resurrection.


So what if the mother will be resurrect to be a survivor by the Entity and the father will be a new Killer? Or the other way around, with a new version of the Yamaoka Estate?

    So from what I've heard Pale Rose came with Hag and Grim Pantry came out around Leatherface so they said just consider that his map, usually they don't just add random maps without a Killer, though I would love if they started doing this.

    The leaked sounds do sound kind of temple-ish and kind of something you'd hear with the dead, I personally think the teaser is a misdirection or something else entirely that we aren't thinking of as I can't see anything of Rin's family relating to a Killer that has those noises.

    Temple of Purgation was a new map in an old realm, so yeah, it does count.
