I know several people have been having this issue and it's still not getting fixed, and we are still getting punished when it's a game bug that's causing us to dc. I have dc'd without fail everyday I've played DbD ever since the huge update with the Archives. It got worse after the "cross-compatibility" came into play. This really needs to be fixed cuz I'm tired of losing all the bp I would have earned and de-pipping when the dc wasn't my fault.

    Cross-play currently is only between steam and microsoft store on PC. It shouldn't affect you disconnecting in game. As for what it could be, maybe your internet is going off then on within a few seconds. Not really sure what else it could be as it seems to be a connection issue.

    servers sometimes make you dc randomly they havent fixed it yet

    Have you tried verifying your game files? Sometimes it can be an internal issue causing the networking to mess up.
