What do u guys think of the teaser trailer for chapter 14 and what do u think it is (Killer)?
For me i feel like we might get oni like a devil kind of character like not a license one but a one made by the devs, and we might get a rework or a map similar to the one that came with spirit as it is shown in the video. It can look a little like it might be It like some wanted but i feel like it probably isnt if the teaser means anything.

Feels like its all a bit too obvious of a teaser to me.
At face value yeah it seems like spirits dad as a demon. I hope he isn't 4.4 ms like spirit i hate the slow power reliant killers.

Feels like it is probably just an ancestor of Rin. Yamokoa estate map lore suggests that theory to be honest but I'm honestly not sure.

After seeing the trailer and it's main focus on Rin's ancestors mask, I'm putting my money more that's gotta be him instead of the father.

It's not her dad, it's her distant ancestor mentioned in her lore as being the first Yamaoka. That kitana was apparently his and passed down through Rin's family for generations until she shattered it by killing her father. Or spilling his blood, something like that. It's why the teaser says in japanese: "your blood is Yamaoka"

The face/mask is in the style of an oni (a type of demonic yokai that looks more like a troll to the west) straight out of Japanese games like Nioh and Sekiro. It could be the father who wears the mask, but does that mean he was possessed?

I personally think it's a Ancestor and he's upset that Runs father ended the bloodline by killing Rin
I would also like it to be Rin as a survivor to show that the entity can pull out killers before they were chosen to be killers and Rin would be a fine example plus the ancestor might blame this on Rin for letting herself become the spirit instead of dying a honorable death

I am thinking possibly a Japenese demon or ghost, there is lots of them with masks.
