"Snap out of It" not working properly!
So, it seems that the Bug Reports section is ignored here just as it was at the steam forums, because of that i decided to post this here too so more ppl can be aware of it and maybe it gets answeared/fixed...
Since the Doctor rework, Snap out of It became a "Healing" action, which in theory means that perks and other effects would affect or get affected by it, so today i tested some stuff and came here to report this bug or intentionally survivors favored mechanic.
Snap out of It can be done quicker if a survivor is using a perk like Botany Knowledge and it also triggers Nurses Calling, HOWEVER perks that reduce the survivors healing speed such as Thanathophobia, Coulrophobia and Dying Light are NOT affecting "Snap out of It", this has been tested on a Kill Your Friends lobby and can be easily reproduced, i also want to remind you devs that the Reworked Sloppy Butcher perk that will apply the "Mangled" effect, should also affect the Snap out or It action, making it slower just as Botany Knowledge makes it faster.
I'm reporting this because i think that the game should be balanced in both ways, not only a survivors sided thing, so for me its a Bug, i hope it gets fixed soon!

McLean stated that Coulrophobia will not affect Snap Out of It, and it should stay that way5

As it is, Madness 3 should be nerfed, not made harder to escape.

You don't get to decide something is a bug because you don't like it. It's not a bug, it's intended. It would be absurd for snapping out of it to be affected by all those things.0

Coulrophobia doesn't affect Snapping out, it's intended and gonna stay that way.
Not considered as a bug.0 -

As it is, Madness 3 should be nerfed, not made harder to escape.I've always felt madness should get totally removed the 1st time you get hooked similar to Freddy's dream state. But to compensate you'd be more susceptible to further treatment so to speak. So if for example it takes 15 seconds to get to phase 2 then the 2nd time it should be 10, 3rd time should be 5 etc. Now granted those are just numbers and I don't know the exact numbers since it varies on distance as well.

The whole mechanic needs to be reworked. Passively hitting Madness 3 over and over isn't fun, since you become a lightning rod of visibility and your interactions are shut off. It's stupendously easy to get forced into Madness 3, and then hooked, and then farmed. It's E-Z Tunnel oven, and it offers a lot of other benefits already.
It only takes one, maybe two, hit(s) of Shock Therapy and some passive Madness to reach tier 2/3 from the previous tier. It's pretty dumb how fast his focus goes. I get that he's a points-farming machine because he's stupidly easy and less nuanced than a lot of other killers, but he's single-handedly a cancer to all but the top end of survivors--and it takes all four being good and knowing how he works to do well.
I don't understand why getting hooked doesn't drop you to, at least, Madness 2. There's nothing worse than coming off of a hook, and the first thing you have to do is break Madness 3. Meanwhile, if you get healed, that's time for the Doctor to come back, and time for you to scream to give away your position, interrupt your healing, and you're still leaving a blood trail and moaning loudly. You have to stand still, your skill checks are all over the place, and with the right addons it can take a long time to get out (or fking impossible if Distressing/Unnerving). If he's using Make Your Choice, there's no way in hell anyone else will be sticking around to heal you, either.

I have enough of a healthy respect for the Doc to give him a wide berth. I play him a lot. As surv I very rarely get into tier 3 for those reasons. The games that i have managed to win against him were when we all worked as a good team and stayed the hell away from him using lockers and distance to our advantage. This was also one of the few games where doing gens together as a group can be helpful since you can power through them rather quickly.
It is in survs' mindset that you have to genrush and be very quick on the gens. You cant with him. At least i wont. Id rather prolong a game and get the hell out than be caught in tier 3 which instantly plants a huge come get me sign on your head. Tier 2 is hard enough to keep down.
Maybe this is why people do not like playing with him. He can slow down the game a bit

I'm pretty sure I heard in a stream from McLean that it counting as a healing action in relations to Nurses was a bug. Nurses pertains to "healing actions" and so does Coulrophobia.
