If you're gonna kill all exclusive cosmetics including Event ones, might as well kill Legacy ones

No, they're meant for veterans of the game. It's supposed to stay exclusive regardless.

I mean, what difference does it make between be EARNING it through grinding on events vs people who grinded bloodwebs? Absolutely none, they killed the hard earned event cosmetics, so why not kill Legacy as well?

Those cosmetics were given during events, not during the beginning of the game when prestiging bloodwebs were more difficult.

Then why not give away cosmetics that the codes existed for only? Why did they have to kill Event cosmetics since you cant sell them, the only way to obtain them was to earn it through grinding the event

You can argue a little bit about the Event ones as well. People who actually participated on the first Howling Grounds and the Scorching Summer Event to earned their cosmetics as exclusive. And now we are losing that. People don't even have to buy them from the shop for shards. They turned them to time exclusive instead. I know it was only last year, but it's a Veteran exclusive as well.
Besides that making Legacy earnable by some kind of playtime or anything like that would help a little bot of those veterans who lost it back in the day.

I don't understand the event ones with the reason they provided. You cannot trade or buy those. I think it's because they don't want to mess with restoring them if lost anymore.
As for Legacy, I hope they never release them globally. I say this as someone who started playing after Legacy ended.

Event in this case means conventions, not in-game special events. You didn't grind those cosmetics, you had to physically go there to receive a code. Some codes were also given during some giveaways, but it was just luck.

By "grinding on events" I mean grinding on ingame events like Howling Grounds.

At least make them available for console players somehow. That is one of their reasons for destroying the exclusivity of the Howling Grounds 2018 and Summer BBQ cosmetics, which were exclusive to their respective in-game events and couldn’t be earned after the event ended.
