I am developing a 4v1 game that shares similarities with DbD. I need volunteers to play test.
Hi, I am a long time DbD player (instant buy after the beta) and I must admit it influenced me a bit in the design of 7 Bones and 7 Stones - The Ritual. I've been working on this game for a while and it's a passion project of mine.
Description:
One player takes the role of a powerful Monster and 4 other villager players run scared as they're trying to complete an ancient ritual. The concept is similar with DbD but there are heavy twists that make the game unique. The goal of the game for villagers in 7 Bones and 7 Stones - The Ritual is to deliver 5 ritual stones to the Dark Portal. The Monster has to do everything he can to stop them till the time runs out.
The theme is set in East European medieval times so the Monsters will be from that area as well. The first Monster is the Vampire, that while generic at this point it is indeed from East Europe. The next Monster will be Baba Yaga.
If you are interested please join the game's Discord and let's play a match: https://discord.gg/S7fZNNG
Thanks for reading!

I'd love to give it a go but I'm on console but I do have a question and maybe a few future monsters if you're interested. So, my question is about the vampire, is it just simply a vampire or is it supposed to be a Strigoi because if I remember correctly, Strigoi are far more animalistic then standard vamps.
Now, for a some future monster suggestions, I'd love to see monsters like Fear Liath, Vodianoi and especially Baubas get in the game eventually but I'm probably thinking far too much ahead.

Very cool post, really appreciate it! Babayaga is the next monster that will be implemented, so you were spot on.
The vampire in the game is a count so it's more of the classical castle Bram Stoker vampire.
I have an idea for the Strigoi, but that's really thinking too much ahead.
Too bad you're on console, we just had a play session last evening and it was really fun.

Hey, if you ever get to console I'll gladly play, always looking for some fun asymmetrical games to add to my library.
On last question though, I know you said the monsters will come from east European medieval times but do you plan on expanding on that to Asia as well or is that WAY to far ahead?
Before I forgot as well, I wanted to clear up some a bit of misconception in my first comment Baubas and Babayaga are quite different. https://slappedham.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/Baubas-Creatures-from-Eastern-European-Folklore.jpg (picture of Baubas)
Sorry about that and thank you for taking the time out of your day and answering my questions, the game is already shaping up very nicely.
