Honest question to survivors complaining they cant pip up

I play solo, when the game starts i run to the nearest generator and work on it. 25% of the time the killer finds me first. Eventually he downs me and hooks me. Sometime I'm really unlucky and I literally run into him 5 seconds into the match and im down after like 20 seconds. How many of you either DC, or try to escape and then complain when no one comes to get you... I have pipped so many times after being hooked first it actually pretty crazy.

You need to just hang there and signal if the killer is near. I swear survivors are terrible at this, all ranks.

It's easy to pip unless you're hard tunneled, but you should be skilled enough to atleast lose the killer so maybe you deserve that depip.

i'm a trash survivor. i find one gen that looks awful, gen tap it as much as i can, Urban Evade at the slightest heartbeat, return to gen tapping, make a rescue with Borrowed Time, follow them and take a hit or heal em, kill any totems i see, continue to look for ppl to save or heal and tapping random gens. i can follow a killer and get gold Evader without even being in chase.... sometimes if theres one gen left, i'll just look for a door instead of a gen.... i can double pip and i can barely do a skill check....

If you do one generator, get one rescue and escape, you pip.

It's easy and anybody who can't do it just needs to git gud.

Yes but what happens when the killer is so bad that nobody gets hooked or 1 gets hooked and they camp. You lose the benevolence because you can't get points back from an unhook since they camp AND they didn't chase you at all. Safety pip from smacking a killer down too hard.
