Not a fan of a Freddy buff

Before i get ######### on: I want all Killers to be viable and don't ask for easy games.
That said i think Freddy shouldn't be receiving huge buffs cause the increased amount of them would make the game insufferable for survivors. While he is the weakest Killer he is also the most unfun and annoying, not even the Doctor is as bad in that regard. He should get a rework that should be huge improvement and not just buffs to his current base.

I think they want to do more than just buff him, or that was the feeling I had watching the livestream, but they didn't elaborate so anything, other than they are looking into him, is just speculation at this point.

I seriously don't understand where all this "unfun" comes from. Whenever i play against Freddy or Doc I feel same as when I play against other killers. Even funnier when I manage to heal a teammate from a dying state in front of him (LOL).

True to some degree, but you forget that his invisibility, the reliance on RnNG to wake up and his near god-like omniscience thanks to his aura reading. Its not fun working 2/3 of a gen with half the speed to get out just for him to pull you back instantly and him knowing what you are up to ALL the time.

I advise you to play more as survivor against a decent Freddy who knows what hes doing and i guarantee you'll not have a good time no matter how much the Odds are actually in your favor.

So now I haven't played against decent freddie with almost instant sleep transition and etc? Man, you should know more about who I play against than myself! Can you teach me how to do that?

Instant transistion isn't even what you learn to fear once you get to know Class Photo. Or Dying Light and Mori for even more slowdown. Also a decent Freddy would not leave people even with fast transistion knowing they can't stop anyone from healing.

I literally finished a gen from scratch while asleep a while ago without getting a skill check (granted, I was chased off of it 4 several times and kept coming back, because I didnt want to run too far and show him my aura).  I don't know how that is possible, even with add-ons, but it happens.

I've also managed to SC at a pallet to wake up, then do it again DURING the 7 sec transition, before finishing healing and then pallet stunning Freddy to get away.  The RNG factor is just stupid and he needs a rework.

Dying Light doesn't need a mori, DS guys DC after the first hit anyway. And no, fast transition IS the worst thing that you can have against Freddy, paired with 8m TR and no SB (since it's meh and BL is better).
I don't really care about being seen as long as the transition time does let me to get to any pallet out there. And after the sleep transition he's just another M1 killer, nothing special and NOTHING to help hm catch me. And f Freddy DOES have DL and the obsession doesn't DC (which is a miracle, 90% of the time they just leave) you still have a LOT of time while the DS guy is pallet looping and giving you time to repair. Not to mention that Freddy has to find the obsession first if he doesn't have that addon.

Btw, if you want an unfun game just play against YET ANOTHER RUIN BILLY.

Borrow time when exit gates opened will completely destroyed a Freddy

Unfun shouldn't be a reason not to buff him, we might as well remove him

Survivors at high ranked is complaining about Nurse, no matter how much they buff Freddy he will still eat pellet for days

Missing Healing skill checks and being healed out of dying shouldn't wake you up. What They could do is turn blood warden into a hex and make the duration last indefinitely until the hex is destroyed.Just make it trigger like NOED. Also disable the ability to heal and repair generators while in injured the dream world. You could also keep the survivor in the dream world when they're hooked and unhooked

last round i just gave the freddy the kill, because we completely stomped him... (he threw me out of the exit gate :( but i really wanted to give him this kill...)
like... the round wasnt even fun. i was the second hoook he got, and i got hooked when both exits were powered...

Freddy is hilarious, I dont get what you mean at all. He just looks so dumb and like a literal walking scotum.

I main Freddy and I understand your concerns.

I'm also hoping for a rework over a buff so he'll have more flexibility in play-styles that counter him. I often compared his counters to the Nurse because of how one dimensional it is.

You can't stealth a Freddy and you cannot pallet loop a Nurse. At least the other killers have some variation to play against them.

And you're right. He desperately needs a rework more then any of the other killers.

If aura reading worked on him the same as other killers there would be more options to counter him. Right now they only work if you are in dream world. Also if they gave his lullaby some directionality on the edge (like 18-24m) then it would help people to avoid him better.

@Mc_Harty You can totally stealth Freddy. Like I have said a million times, run Spine Chill and you can stealth every killer in the game (except EW1 Myers). Throw on Iron Will and Urban Evasion and it's even easier. The trick is to NOT CROUCH IN SOME CORNER LIKE A COMPLETE BOOB RELYING SOLELY ON THE STUPIDITY OF THE KILLER TO NOT BE FOUND. When Spine Chill lights up, walk away. Don't run, don't hide. Just walk away, far away, from where the killer expects you to be. Understanding line of sight helps.

And if I'm running Whispers as Freddy? Or the range add-ons? I can very easily find survivors that have no indication of which direction I'm coming from. Which is something Spine Chill does not do.

Also Iron Will against Freddy? That's a laugh, considering you'll have to be injured for that to work. Most of the time when survivors are injured, I don't leave them up for long, especially when playing as Freddy.

He deserves a buff but i do agree that he will recieve more dcs because survivors hate the play style that he brings.

All they have to do with Freddy are a couple simple things. And it would help A LOT.

Red Paint Brush - No slow down in movement speed.
Dream Transition - Make the base time from 7 seconds to 5
Fire Up - INcrease every tier by 2%

That alone would help A LOT. Don't overcomplicated it... just do this. It is the biggest problem. Or just leave him alone and take off ALL NEGATIVE effects from his add ons?

Freddy without addons is very easily the worst killer I think.
