The Oni IS an original killer.

Well, at least as original as you can get with the limited abilities that killers can have. All killers use a melee to hit survivors (besides the huntress hatchets, of course).

Similarities to Hillbilly, Myers, and Ghostface:

Has a high-speed attack than can one-shot survivors. Now. That's the entirety of Billy's power, but calling Oni a Hillbilly 2: Electric Boogaloo isn't right at all. When The Oni uses his power he can also M1 nearly instantly by default for this same effect. Now all that and he has to work for his power anyway. He must M1 and follow bleeding survivors to charge his power. People have been saying this stage of the power is like stalking with Ghost Face or Myers. It's not. At all. You get the power from M1s, slowly over time, and collecting dropped blood from survivors. You don't need to keep LoS. You don't need to worry about being seen by survivors and losing your ability. You just need to follow, like all killers do. Well, you don't even need to follow. You can just let someone be and come back later to pick up the blood they dropped.

TL;DR : Every similar aspect Oni has to other killers is quite differentiated or not very similar at all.
