What is this?
There was a bill in my game, and he had a globe next to he's name. but the globe icon was not moving with the name. it was added by the game, what is it, and why cant i see he's profile? what kind of protection thing is this devs?

If this was on PC, I'm guessing that the globe icon has something to do with cross-platform play between Steam and the Windows Store. If that's the case, the reason you wouldn't be able to see his profile is because he doesn't have one that you can view, because he's playing on a different platform.

This just happened to me on console. Wanted to report but I couldnt see profile. Kept getting an error and we experienced rubberban the hole game . His ps4 name was a globe with characters that couldn't be seen by ps4.

i have seen lots of people having this icon on PC. Its basiclly showing that the player is using a diffrent platform than yours. For example if your on PC and you have this icon it means that the player is using for example a ps4. You can't exatcly tell which platform is it.

This was before Crossplay was implemented.
If they saw the icon on PC, it could be from the Windows Store.
If they saw it on Console, it was a cheater.
