Kill Switch update: The issue affecting Baermar Uraz's Ugly Sweater has been fixed and the cosmetic has been reenabled in all queues with this update.

Why dont they look into implementing bots?

I think this could be a solid addition, I know it would probably be a lot of work, but still could be a solid addition.

Not only could it potentially make Disconnects less of a issue for every match, it could also allow people who maybe dont have 4 friends to play with still be able to play and have fun in custom game.

Right now Disconnects litterally cause a match to go from fair to just a complete landslide a lot of the time, and it kinda sucks. Like you dont even need to implement killer Cpu to get this going, just a base survivor and test it out on a PTB or something.

The only time I ever cinsidered AI in the game was with my Puppetmaster concept. (Place puppets on the ground and they chase survivors and injure them if they see them. Really basic 'follow+attack' AI)

I don't think they can create bots that can be smart enough to make the game fun.

They have to create a bot that understands they need to run loops, understand how to use each perk, when to hide, when to make a dangerous save, when NOT to make a dangerous save; the Survivor bots could either turn out to be more skilled than a pro human player or crappier than a Rank 20. Same goes for Killer bots, they have to design mind games for them to understand and they have to make the Killer AI a learning AI as well, if it can't learn from the player they're going against they will lose every time.

Back when I was still playing Friday the 13th I played with some bots because I wanted to just play Jason and those bots were a great example of the problem. They were too stupid to open a window slowly and THEN jump through it, they always just jumped through a glass window when I approached them which injured them and slowly killed them. At the same time they were VERY good at completing objectives and escaping was somehow still possible with all the window jumping; very impressive but a great example of how bad or how good they can be.

That said I still want bots

Actually never even heard of it lol. I just thought that would be the only way you could do Puppetmaster since one player can't control all of those puppets manually and still be viable.
