Double Pallet On Groaning Storehouse

While I probably shouldn’t bring this to light because holy ######### double pallets orgasm, but I saw these two pallets literally 5 feet away from each other by the back left corner of the Storehouse on the MacMillan Estate.

While I didn’t play DBD when pallets could spawn in such a close vicinity to each other, I know it existed and I thought the pallet RNG was tweaked long ago to keep that from happening.

So what gives?

Idk I think you just have god tier luck (unless you’re playing Killer of course). Because I’ve never seen double pallets on that map, or literally any other map for that matter, except for the one I just mentioned lol.

Double pallets seem to happen if there's a low amount of pallets overall. Coal tower often has doubles since its a smaller map. Ive seen them on near the building and I even saw a jungle gym with 2 pallets just a few months ago. Makes jungle gyms 50x stronger

Double pallets, while officially being patched out, can still very very rarely occur when the RNG generated too few tiles with pallet-spawns. There is a minimum cap for how few pallets can spawn. If that is about to be beaten, the game has no other choice than put multiple pallets at the same tile.

Pallets spawn with a distance between Pallet spawns, and always avoids double spawns.

When the random placement happens to make it so that it fills all places before meeting the minimum requirement of Pallets for that map, it is then forced to place a, or maybe even double in very rare occurrences, double Pallet somewhere.

You might have a double Pallet at one location, but the map will have only a minimum amount of Pallets overall as a result.

If you assume this is a bug though, i can only recommend to go around and count Pallets, then report it.

Who knows, maybe it IS a bug.

But if you feel like you didn't have to deal with many Pallets, it's probably thanks to the RNG.
