Hatch camping

I’m not sure if you all agree with me. But do you guys think, maybe the hatch should appear a lot more slower. Why? Honestly here’s the reason why I say that. It’s cause when I play killer. I’ll get survivors who purposely kill themselves so that they’re fellow survivor can hatch escape. Does anyone find this a problem or is it just me? What’s you’re thoughts on it?

Nothing wrong with it, sometimes people kill themselves on hook because team won't go for the unhook, this will only work if killer does not know the hatch location tho

I don't find it to be a problem, it's just a bit of altruism. Sacrifice yourself so someone else can live.

Disconnections obviously shouldn't instantly open the hatch though, it should take as long as if someone died on the hook.

It can be abit frusterating to lose the last guy due to an instant hatch, but still...you got 3 ppl and that extra kill wouldnt have really netted that much more points. Typically by the time endgame comes around, I already have all my BBQ stacks and such. In these situations, I just say my GGs and move on. Usually the only time hatch escapes annoy me is when I have the team SUPER pressured, just to see 2 or 3 escaping without finishing the last gen...after Ive been patroling all of em and making sure they have 0 progress... Still in that case, I just say my GGs and maybe throw in that that was a clutch hatch escape.

Its not an issue. I consider last survivor escaping by hatch a win when I play killer.

If someone wants to die for their friend then good for them :) Taking one for the team.

If it is really a problem then you should start looking for hatch when you are down to two survivors. Once you locate it you can play around it and use it to your advantage ^^

I believe it's pretty balanced, if you and a survivor race towards the hatch you can always close it before he/she does, the problem is the moment you don't know where the hatch is. Try slugging the last survivor instead of hooking him and find the last guy, it's a viable option for the 4k.

yeah it's the same as slugging for the 4k. Killer trying to kill, survivors want at least one to get out. I prefer to hook the 3k and see who gets the hatch first. Killers tend to have the advantage as they are faster, covering more ground, and not worried about being killed.

If a survivor is willing to kill themselves on hook to let their team mate escape, that's their choice and makes them a team player (good for them).

As killer, it's your choice to camp the hooked person or look for the trap/exits. You can't expect to get a 4k every match or you will never be satisfied - same with survivors, you can't expect to escape every match.

Isn't that like a survivor saying "dying on the hook should take 4 mins if all gens are done so the survivors have time to rescue the last man and get a 4k"?

    See how silly that sounds?

Yes, that is really annoying but I guess survivors feel the same way when we slug for the 4k. So I'd feel wrong complaining about one side or the other.

U should be able to pip killing 3 without any problem With that most killers wouldnt slug for the 4k because You don't need to and u only would if u had to sweat like mother trucker in that Game and u want your 4k...
