Disparity in the Ranks
I am just curious why it is okay to have a killer in the gray ranks (noted to be full of new players) with full maxed out perks from at least three different killers that each need to be level 35 to give out the perk as a teachable.
What then happens is that killer build is going up against players with one maybe two perks, probably all yellow. Is not the killer just there farming?
Also if they do have three killers at level 35 or higher, why are they still rank 17? You cannot depip at rank 17.
There is dark mutterings about balancing the game but it strikes me its no different from a team of SWF all with purple perks torturing a new level 20 killer with one perk.
Any solutions? Thoughts on this?

@Revansith if they are at R17 that means they dont play killer as much (either surv mains that just spent bp on killers or they dont play dbd enough to rank up past what rank reset did) there is also other reason maybe they are just bad and refuse to learn how to play a game
but believe it or not if rank reset wasnt a thing, R20-17 players almost wouldnt be able to find a game (because even now they are paired with R15 players)

I get the idea behind rank reset, as over time there would be less and less viable killers at the gray ranks.

Less and less matches at all.

People with highly levelled killers at that rank have probably played a lot of survivor, and invested some of those bloodpoints into killers. You'll get the same thing with survivors at that rank who have great perks because they usually main killer.
But rank is based on skill level, not loadout, and that's as it should be. Yes, a full loadout of good perks and addons will give the killer some advantage, but a bad killer with great perks is still bad.

I originally tried to play killer in KYF, back when KYF was a thing. Now it's just called "Custom Game" and doesn't work for me on Xbox.
It was SUPER hard and I couldn't do anything. So I made sure that I had certain perks to help me out at the lower ranks and have just a bit easier time learning. At rank reset, I was a Rank 9 killer, with full level loadout and knowledge on how to play, put back to rank 15.
That and if someone's not played on a mode for a few resets, they get put lower and lower until they go back to Rank 20. The game feeling that since it's been so long since they played, that they're on par with new players. It may have a cap, probably at 17, but I'm unsure.
