Its that time of the year again and steam is having their annual Steam Awards. I know that there is sometimes mixed reception with some updates, I’m looking at you delayed Halloween event, but overall the Devs have really done a “pretty good job so far” and this game deserves to be recognized for it.

I’ve nominated Dead by Daylight for the Labor of Love award and was hoping that all of those that love this game could show some love and nominate DbD as well. I’d love if our community continued to grow and got new fans playing this awesome game that lots of us spend more time, then we are willing to admit, playing.

    I gave the Labor of Love reward to Monster Hunter World, myself. Behavior seem to have forgotten the community in favor of monetization is almost all its forms. We're basically only missing raw pay-2-win and lootboxes at this point.

    Meanwhile, the developers of MHW decided, based upon popular request, to let players use previously obtained pieces of armor as Layered Armor (cosmetic layer, replacing the current armor's looks) on a fairly short notice.

    There's a massive difference between the developers of the two games in terms of how they treat their game and their community.
