New tome level is bad

Challenges are not worth the amount of BPs and shards given to complete. Most of them are within the 30K mark which is equivalent to a daily that can be done in one match, but these challenges offer the same payout as a daily but the price you have to pay is not equivalent to that of said challenge. Example: unhook 25 survivors/ kick 40 pallets/generators. Although these are very reasonable challenges the amount of time it takes to complete solely one of these challenges does not match the vaule of you receive for completion.

On another note there are some challenges that require you to play bad or lose on purpose in order to fulfill the requirements needed to complete said challenge this encourages stale gameplay and to some who want to play the game you could have many teammates sandbag each other or DC just to complete a challenge ASAP. My proposal to this situation is to fix certain challenges that have specific requirements that are odly absurd and to match the level of rewards to that of the level of the challenge at hand.

This challenge is super flawed if everyone was hooked twice before endgame awww sorry no challenge

Exactly my point about it. It has so many conditions required to be met BEFORE endgame even starts and then when it starts it needs a bunch more in order to achieve it.

If you think they are bad now, just wait till the 4th level, good luck getting 4 people in the basement, or killing 3 survivors during EGC with noed up. Devs won't change it even though the community has said multiple times it's way too hard.

We have yet to see a dev comment on the community feedback towards this new tome so I'm going to set my expectations low and just expect the leaked tome 4 level to be the one that will be used.Nothing will be changed as always.

You aren't wrong in a sense that the survivor challenges are more bullshit than the killer challenges but some of the killer challenges require the survivors to be the biggest unaware potatos in the game, Example: catch 5 survivors in beartraps, sacrafice 2 survivors EGC with noed. Like who the hell came up with these ridiculous challenges? Both sides have it bad and I would like to see a dev comment on what they're planning on doing with the concerns the community has with this level and the upcoming 4th level which is obviously going to be worse than this current level.

5 traps and 2 survivors in EGC is bad mojo. All of the "in a single trial" ones are just based purely on luck, plain and simple. You either luck into playing against consistently careless idiots on a wide scale or you don't; simple as that.

Survivor ones this go around, though... man. You have to have at least a 2-3 man SWF to dream of pulling some of them off.

And the devs' silence is absolutely deafening across the many threads relating these same feelings. I'll remember all this (and the bogus estimates of "1 hr per day to complete full Rift" BS) come time for the next set of Tomes/Rift. No way in hell I'll dish real money out on this again. They're crazier than a crap-house rat.

Not to mention that they said that these challenges are supposed to be meant for """"average player""""

I know I heard about this but I don't remember where. Was this on a post or stream? I don't have a problem with the challenges being difficult because I'm confident I'll hit tier 70 in 41 days, but at the same time, I don't consider myself casual, or average.

If they really did say it's meant for the average player, then they need to re-evaluate the difficulty level. It might be better to give the option to do grindy type of challenges that at least seem achievable. BHVR might be overestimating the time average players are willing to dedicate, especially if it seems unachievable. Then again, I don't know what kind of behind-the-scenes numbers there are- maybe I'm the one underestimating the average player.
