How to do the trapper time challenges?

How do I do the trapper time challenges, like seriously. They seem down right impossible, especially since I hardly play trapper and only have him at level 50, no prestige. I've tried putting the traps in more unconventional spots (places where you wouldn't normally loop, only to counter a trap they think is on the other side, putting them in high traffic areas, etc) but can only max 2 or 3 traps in a game. Especially since by the time I have all my traps set, I'm down to no ruin and 2 gens left. I even had one game where they did all the gens before I set up all the traps. Current build I'm running is Ruin, Spirit Fury, Enduring, and Noed. Yes, Noed; don't start that argument, I'm not changing it, especially since gens go so damn quick with trapper.

Areas with large amounts of grass can make for some really good trap placements. Placing them on windows can also catch a few survivors.

Whenever you start of a game as trapper, the first thing you want to do is find where gens are closest. You want to do your best to trap up that area so that your trap placements will stay relevant in the late game.

Otzdarva is a really well known player. Here is a vid where he watches analyzes another trapper player. Talks about trap placement, map control etc. Should help a lot.

Time challenges? You mean tome right?

There's not much to say besides get better at trapper. Learn how to herd people and the good spots for traps. And how much time you should invest in setting up vs chasing survivors

Or just farm. Really easy to do.

Part of it comes down to map. I’m in your same situation with rarely using him, but I just got the “5 traps in 1 match” completed on Haddonfield. I might suggest using a strode key offering as that map worked really well. also, I used a bottle to darken traps (green add-on) and the +2 bag.

Go upstairs in a house with a gen, step through a window, and place the trap right where you land outside.

go around the perimeter of the map, and when you see a long stretch with a single break in the bushes or fence, trap it.

find a pallet near a gen in the grass and trap it in preparation for a loop run.

after that, just hunt and chase. And enjoy!

if all else fails, go to an exit gate where they’re all taunting. Place a trap, swipe above it as and indicator to the survivors, then run far from the gate. If lucky, they’ll step in it for you. Come back, reset, and see if you’ll get lucky again.

Bro it's easy. Equip ruin, padded jaws, put 5 or 6 traps in a big open area in the middle of the map. Start stepping in them over and over. Survivors will get the hint come out and start doing your work for you. Farm it out and it's a win win for everyone
