New map challenge for the Devs
So, I was playing DbD yesterday and was contemplating which maps I like, and realized how they’re all similar in order to fit the games atmosphere. So I got to thinking that maybe it’s time to go on the far end of the spectrum and challenge the devs to come out with a creepy map that is in full daylight.
Yes, I know the game is titled “Dead by DAYLIGHT” and that it implies that, lore wise, the survivors should die before light. It’s just, I feel that it would be really cool if we could have a map that could be oppressively lit up, to where in certain parts of the map, it would be difficult to see past the lens flare of the sun, allowing for some scary plays.
I suggest that the map setting should be a cemetery that has a three floor funeral home (underground embalming room, main floor, upstairs office with large balcony) in the center, several mausoleums and lots of large headstones and statues, littered with creepy trees. This way, survivors would be able to hide behind objects, but can’t just always hide along the walls, and immersive players (blendettes) can use the shadows to their advantage.
This map could also be used to introduce a Zombie Killer or even a Deadite and tie it to Evil Dead.
What say you, fellow Dbders?
Edit**
Another part of the challenge would be that there should be no atmospheric music. It should be completely silent except for the cawing of birds, the rustling of the wind through branches, the crunching of leaves underneath your footsteps, terror radius and chase music only.

I'd actually really like a beach/coastline map, maybe a good compromise between night and day could be dawn or dusk. A red/orange hue to the map would be pretty cool if this was added but I don't know how they'd affect scratch marks.

I'd want to see some trippy map straight from the planes of Oblivion

A beach/coastline map would be nice, especially if we could go into the water for a bit. They could introduce a sea monster killer.

I don't relish the idea of running around without an atmosphere of horror. Lerys map is pretty bright, but an outdoor map would have to be a football stadium fully lit or something. The beach would be a cool place, bit imagine it at night? When no one's around, and all sorts of slimy things are dredging themselves out of the ocean to come get you.

I agree that the atmosphere should be scary, I’m just saying they could go a different route of doing that. Deafening silence could be terrifying, just like playing against Ghostface and Meyers.
And yes, I want it to where it’s as bright as if it’s just past noon, where there are shadows, but just barely, unless there’s a group of objects casting a larger one.
The terrain could have a couple of dips or minor hills as well. Maybe it’s a bad idea, I just think it could be really neat.

I really want a Summer Camp map. AHS 1984 chapter maybe?

I mean if you've played Slender: The Arrival, there's a few chapters of that that take place in daylight. "Homestead" still manages to be really creepy and it's set basically at sunset.

Maybe a map where the day/night cycle is sped up so the longer a match goes you see sunrises and sunsets so you get both?

I’d like this idea but I want to take it a couple of steps further. In an older version of the fighting game Dead or Alive, the final boss had the ability to change the seasons during the match. It would probably be too much for this game but it would be nice if the devs could figure out a way to change the environment every time someone gets hooked or dies.

We could have different seasons in versions of the map. Badham II is summer, Badham V is fall, etc.
