Rift fragments overflow
What happens when a player maxes to tier 70 before s/he completes all the challenges to tome 4?
Is it pointless from there on other than to get new lore voice-overs? Or do the surplus rift get converted to something else useful...

And no, the remainder Rift Fragments from the Archives is for that particular Rift. It can't be used elsewhere.

Before tome 2 was released (didn't know when), I accelerated two or three tiers with ACs on seeing they gave back AC. Now that I've completed tome 2 and halfway through tome 3 (approaching tier 50), the challenges are getting increasingly difficult to accomplish on first try and may take multiple attempts, which by themselves keep allotting rift fragments.
Myself, I don't think I can grind it purely on raw matches, but I imagine that frequent players (e.g. streamers) would likely have close to completion at this point.

I got level 70 yesterday. New challenges will not give anything other than records and bloodpoints.

Wait, you're saying it's almost as if, the archives are like, a seperate thing from the battlepass? And it, like, doesnt actually benefit it to the fullest because it's an actual free loot/lore for challenge system?
Damn....that's crazy...
Almost as if they just tied battlepass xp into the archives to make their horrible system even more integrated and seemingly necessary to players to have and use both.
Damn....good money making scheme.

You get nothing after you reach tier 70, except for bp and collectible rewards from archives
