I’m so evil
Just had a game where I was playing Doctor on the newest map, Hawkins. Main point here to understand is that I was running Lullaby, Ruin and two of the terror radius add ons.
Well, as we got to the late game, both of my totems were still up, everyone was on death hook (one dc) and there were still five generators left.
I decided to test something, bringing the last three survivors to tier 3 madness. With lullaby five, they CONSTANTLY were missing their skill checks on snapping out of it. And once they finally completed snapping out, I was right there again to bring them to tier three xD They weren’t aware how close I was all game because of my add ons. Not too much time after though, I put them out of their misery. I also let one have hatch.
This might’ve been the most enjoyable game I’ve had this year. Just thought I’d share the experience.

Instead of 2 terror radius add ons, if you REALLY want to be oppressive, go with purple Calm, Distressing, and Purple Order. Not only do you have a big terror radius, it will get people to madness quicker.

I also recommend overcharge. To make things even MORE difficult

I look forward to the doctor rework. He's trash on huge maps like the temple or farm maps, but op on small maps like hawkins or lerys.

RIP skill checks

Impossible skill check Doctor. Proud of you

I can't say I approve, but I can say I see how this would be fun. I do approve of you giving one the hatch after you experimented.... holy crap you were BEING THE DOCTOR!

Doctor is annoying, not evil, and I would call this holding the game hostage. They can't leave without DCing, and you aren't killing them on purpose just to annoy the crap out of them.

It's an artist admiring his work ;)
The game was not held hostage as they still had a chance at skill checks, aleit a very small one. As long as the chance exists then the game cannot be held hostage.

@TunnelVision Wrong, because he admits to choosing to reapply the effect if they succeeded the checks.
That is holding the game hostage. The doctor gets nothing out of standing over you spraying insanity for no other reason but to stop you from being able to play. The survivors can literally do nothing but those skill checks over and over again because he is reapplying the effect if they succeed. That is the definition of 'holding the game hostage'.

It really is not. They can still hit the skill checks.... they just have a very very small chance. Therefore it is not holding the game hostage. It's just making it very very hard for them to pull off.

You've made Lord Herman proud.

YOU MONSTER!

The real evil beings are the ones who runs Franklin's demise, Hit everyone and then disconnect.

oh yeah, that's evil lol GGs though. Those are DEF the kind of "troll" moments that make me fear the Doctor. Damn skill check thing floating all over my screen... BIG OOFs lol

That is literally just playing the character. And he literally said that he killed them pretty soon after. You probably DC against Spirit and Freddy too, huh?

They all made to tier 3 no more than 3 times. Most of the game I didn’t use my shock therapy since I had low terror radius with my add ons in punishment mode.

I made the Demogorgon listen to their screams (:

No unnerving presence actually. My other two perks were BBQ and POP.

He took control of me man... and it felt GOOD! He’s basically a symbiote.
