Thoughts on character Charms?

I guess I never understood the point of them. I don't really care that they exist but if you're a survivor then they're so tiny and insignificant that other players won't even realize which charms you have equipped- if they even notice you have them at all.

Seems like a pointless addition in every sense. What do you think about charms?

Alot of cosmetics are like that really. You might get a good view of them in a lobby, but are you REALLY gonna be noticing the pair of jeans Jane is wearing mid-match, or the particular knife Ghostface is using?

I think as a Survivor they are too small, I've been playing Adam a lot lately and the only charm I can use that I can see is the Claudette charm because it is so big, all the other ones are too small to clip through his coat. Also I can't see if anyone else is wearing them and visa versa.

As a Killer I really love that I can customize my hook the way I want and I am excited to see what other charms they come up. I like to put on charms that fit the Killer I'm playing and the options are small right now but when they release more it'll be fun to see what I can put on :)

When it comes to cosmetic clothing, yes, I do notice. They actually pop out quite frankly, given how many players don't buy or use the customization in the game. Certain killer weapons are easy to miss, but I do always notice a Huntress' axe, for example.

  • I think it'd be neat if they decorated the gens with different charms of larger size (maybe attached to the light post), similar to how the hooks have the large charms. There'd need to be a restriction of course on how many charms can be on a specific pole and how large they are.

Otherwise, I don't mind how small the charms are on character models. If they get too large, then they'll look clunky and disproportionate to the character models.

    Just my $0.02

Michael's new metal pipe and screwdriver are definitely noticable, too.
