My Opinion on the Mid-Chapter Patch
I have heard mixed reviews about the patch, but overall I didn't think it was that bad. I play a mix of both killer and survivor. I still have no trouble escaping as survivor and killer is now at the place it should be. I heard people complaining about things like exhaustion and the OP killer perk buffs, but it doesn't break the game like people say it does. I see so much survivor bias towards the patch that its actually sad. For once, now killers don't have to be 10x better than the survivors to have a slim chance of victory. My only issue was that surveillance is still absolute dog poo, but I hope they eventually fix it.

I kinda wish the trapper had a better animation for placing his traps! Like he looks like he just opens it with a flick of his wrist!
Also I wish they had an animation for when you disarmed a bloody coil trap because right now you disarm it and boom your injured it’s funny how it just happens like I don’t know they should make it look like you cut yourself disarming the trap but hey it’s probably asking a lot! But love the patch!2 -

Yeah and this tells me that killer is NOT at the place it should be. At least tahts what I expected when I purchased an assymetrical horrorgame.

A Feast for Killers - Dead by Daylight draws from all corners of the horror world. As a Killer you can play as anything from a powerful Slasher to terrifying paranormal entities. Familiarize yourself with your Killing Grounds and master each Killer’s unique power to be able to hunt, catch and sacrifice your victims.
• Real People, Real Fear - The procedural levels and real human reactions to pure horror makes each game session an unexpected scenario. You will never be able to tell how it’s going to turn out. Ambience, music, and chilling environments combine into a terrifying experience. With enough time, you might even discover what’s hiding in the fog.

When I say I have no trouble escaping, that's not saying I do it every time. I'm just saying its not as hard to escape as people are saying it is (but it is harder). Killers are finally at the place they should be (except Freddy and wraith). I escape about 2/5 games and normally die to trying to be altruistic.

Its so bad that by the time you kick your third gen the timer on the first already runs out.TheXenoborg said:Surveillance definitely needs a rework. It's a good perk on paper but has no practical use.
