Question about new DC punishments

How long are these bans? They get longer as it goes on right? I’m asking because it doesn’t seem to be helping. I am still getting at least 1 DC every lobby, often 2 and sometimes even 3-4... I haven’t played a single real match since the update and this is super annoying. I thought this system was gonna help discourage ragequitting but apparently it’s not enough of a penalty or it’s forgiven too quickly because nobody cares about it.

    Please, can people just learn to read patch notes and announcements? Which is actually one big point of this forum. DC punishment feature will be activated on Thursday this week, means in 2 days.
