Individual ranks for killers?

I recall that the devs talked about implementing some kind of differentiation between different killers in terms of rank. Is this happening or did I dream it?

I really want to try out some new killers and builds, but seeing that my usual killer roster and playstyle has carried me to higher ranks, experimentation has become a very stressful experience. In fact, there are several killers that I haven't even touched since bying them. I tried playing Oni for a couple of games but after five consecutive losses, I'm gonna put him on the shelf for a while.

    Individual ranks is a feature I've been waiting on a lot as well, especially with the recent changes to the rank reset not dropping you as low as before. It's fun to look forward to rank reset so you can actually have fun playing the less viable killers but with this change that isn't going to be a thing anymore.

    I don't think you dreamed it, I believe I remember them saying they were looking into doing it.

    I've asked for this also and thought it incentives players to try new killers and builds.

    While they may face less experienced players with the new ranking system update/change it seems more of a possibility.

    It would be a very nice change indeed. If only some rank progress carried over, that would be gold. But I don't know if it's possible to implement with todays emblem system to be honest.
