Wraith has been heavily nerfed and seems that no one noticed it
You can no longer do the super-lunge after uncloaking. Now the lunge is short ASF, like if you were moving at normal speed.
Wraith didn't deserve that. I hope it's a bug.

Yep I just played a game as wraith and it was so frustrating. I'm used to have a sprint after uncloaking and I've been missing a lot of hits because of it.

I'm sure it's a bug, I couldnt see them nerfing one of the if not the weakest killers. buuuut I've been wrong before

It's likely a bug. I sure hope so. That's his entire windstorm kit gone.

I'm really hoping they didn't do that, the lunge was made because of the uncloaking speed, which made it so that survivors could easily run away.
If the lunge was nerfed then Wraith is dropping a lot in the tier list.

They themselves said they have no plans to nerf Wraith.
So this can't be an intended change.

It's probably connected the fact they changed the spirit's lunge when phasing. Hopefully this gets fixed soon. Wraith is already terrible enough with the speed boost.

Ngl, it was already feeling very short. And btw, Wraith got already shadow nerfed previously. At one point, enduring wasn't applying on wraith anymore while invisible. This made the perk itself but also spirit fury combo pretty useless.
Also, idk if bug or intentional but since dedicated servers wraith stays invisible even after a stun by pallet or FL.

That explains alot i played wraith earlier today and thought i was holding attack button long enough.
Im glad to see that wasn't just me Hopefully it gets fix i was feeling it bad always missing alot hits cause i was expecting the lunge

I just went down to an uncloak hit that I'd fast vaulted through a window, ended up being downed several feet in the other side. I'm not feeling it lol

This is true. I played a match earlier and was getting my ass handed to me until I realized what was happening and abandoned the cloak attack and got more sneaky. Luckily I was running his add-ons that mutes the bell, and shows surv Aura wthn 12 meters while cloaked.

Maybe they messed something up with adjusting the spirit lunge. It's a bug probably.

I played Wraith yesterday after the update. I didn't notice anything. The post uncloack speed boost was definitely there. If I got time, I'll test it again later.

I mean, there is still a speed boost, but the speed boost before this patch used to 2x quicker and longer, especially if you swung mid-boost.
Believe me, I've been playing wraith all week and when this patch came out I instantly noticed something was wrong. I think I missed 5 post-uncloak hits in my first game as wraith yesterday.

@Peanits I'm sorry for calling you out here, but seems that nobody knows why the wraith speed boost after uncloaking got worse.

Wraith didnt get nerfed, cause then this would have been displayed in the patchnotes. Stop forcing panic, if its just a bug. You could have just reported this in the bug section instead of posting some propaganda like this in General discussions.

Not to sound rude, but all week compared to people who have been playing wraith for months, if not years, doesnt away much opinion. It may just be good vs bad games or a placebo effect.

I didn't mean to say that I started to play the wraith last week. I have 1900 hours on this game.
What I was trying to say is that I played wraith last week every day non-stop.

I main wraith and i did notice my speed boost is alittle weird before id come out of invis and do like a super speed lunge (always worked on survivors who waited at pallets).
