Prediction: DC punishment will make killers act worse ingame
Now with dc punishment coming soon this is how that will go, killers know now that its instant punishable to do so their behavior will turn for the worse making the solo experience even worse in this game.

How..?

He means killers can be more toxic without survivors dcing I guess

Agreed. There will be even more tunneling and camping - and its already unbearable at it is right now.

One match I played I noted the killer would hook then camp, or pretend to walk away then rush back. This happened for each of the first two survivors. The third survivor was on the hook and again killer was camping. I decided to risk an unhook and rely on the killer whacking me and not the player I unhooked. He did. The unhooked player escaped through the hatch. It cost me a pip but it was worth it, I dislike camping killers.

i agree; this is why i thought they needed to look into why people chose to DC on both sides and try to make some quality of life changes. I'm just trying to do my archives playing solo and every match up is awful..not to mention the long survivor queues. Finally get into a match and its a tunneling killer with franklins..no more archive completions in my future at this rate lmao

thats the first time ive heard someone say solo gameplay would get worse with a punishment for ragequitters...
usually my solo rounds are ruined by exactly that: ragequitters.
4 -
Oh yeah ? As a solo player about 90% of my worst games (ragequitters making games 3 or 2v1 and such garbage) were caused by my teammates and not the killer. It's the survivors who think that legit killer playstyles or going down early or killer they don't like are worth DCing are the real problem that this will rightfully punish.
Also prediction: It goes both ways and survivor will do exactly the same to punish killer.

Good? Survivor mains should want this actually when you think about it.
If Killers start doing something you consider toxic more often; then it will be complained about even more and people will start dropping from games and just not playing again until the devs address what you consider toxic. They will have to, the amount of people that will sit through that will decrease and decrease and eventually it will impact game health.
Actually, I am hoping the same thing happens from Killer perspective too; because now there will be an even more direct consequence to the game and their sales rates if things go unfixed.

People won't be able to casually dc early on every time a mori pops up for one. So more regular mori spam.
Survivors will have to stay or at least get hooked once when vsing stuff like insta hatchets

Mori's honestly make the game harder I find; as soon as I drop a mori a SWF group that would have been casual about it turns into the sweatiest tryhard group imaginable because they do not want to reward a mori by any means.
I actually use mori's all the time; and then don't actually use them in game- it's like a get out of jail free card for toxic survivors because they can't trash on you without looking like idiots; because you could have mori'd them the whole time- they are usually appreciative and we have nice post game discussions instead of what would have been toxicity.

I honestly don't see how the Devs are going to be able to implement anything that forces people to play the way that you want them to play. If you're being camped...hang in there until your team finishes gens....or, just eat it.
If you're being tunneled, run the killer enough so your team can do gens...or, just eat it. I don't understand why throwing a tantrum and losing 2 pips is always someones answer rather than just eating the hook, losing a pip and moving on.

About survivors being toxic everygsme and try to Make the killer DC not Even a Word right?

I play almost exclusively Killer and I can assure you that most Killers run unfair addons, tunnel or camp to see you disconnect and be smug about making you give up. Seeing the match through to its bitter end will result in less Killers being inclined to be trouser-stains since they are no longer getting the disconnects they like to gloat about.
Tl;dr - Accept the disconnect punishments because they are to your benefit.

Better to simply not play survivor really

Solo survivors biggest enemy are other survivors, not the killer.
2 -
Oooh yeah I can see that being a problem. Mori’s should honestly be one click instead of holding to activate. That alone would solve it.

Oh of course it will, already saw this coming the day they announced it. They will do everything in their power to make you DC now.

Most of the d/c's I see occur within 20 seconds because the survivor doesn't like the killer and aren't remotely related to killer behavior. Unless the killer is telepathic.

I can't imagine people that don't already do the cringy "play for salt" thing will change how they play in any way. If people really don't want to deal with stuff they can just die on hook or go straight up afk anyway, not to mention it'll probably be rare enough that if someone encounters a particularly nasty player they can afford to take the first-time DC penalty depending on what duration it starts at.

1st killer i met after patch was knock out, 3rd seal, sloppy butcher, thrill, freddy
i DCed after 2min being slugged and i didnt got penalty so i guess its rly for "early" dc not normal ingame

This is one of those "I agree, but..." opinions. I can see a survivor spinning around over a slug trying to force that "one click" melee hit to be a "one click" mori instead, giving them up to 14 seconds (clown) to run away.

You're not wrong.
Ebony Iri Head Huntress with NOED and Bamboozle.
Killers that just slug until you bleed out as the last surv when he could just hook you.
Camping and Tunneling increased.
I don't really care, i'll still DC against these kind of players. Not gonna waste my time. Actually, why even play Survivor anymore, yikes.
