Why survivors bring 4 items and then rage quit if killer uses powerful addons?
I use addons as a killer based on what survivors bring as I like to play fair, but as soon as survivors bring lobby full of items they expect perkless / addonless Wraith or they rage quit?

Not all DCs are rage quits. Maybe it was SWF and one legit DCed, the rest followed suit to play with their friend.
Then again, maybe they are sick of yet another PGTW Freddy (and with pink addons!)

Forever Freddys uses Thana, Sloppy and Ruin instead of BBQ, Enduring and Spirit Fury. 3 out of my 4 perks are ment to help me in chase and track people.

Good point. At least you didn't have Ruin. I would've played it. Maybe they just didn't want to? They lost all those sub-par items anyways.

Same reason killers lobby dodge 4x toolboxes or whatever, they don't want to play against it.
Doesn't justify it as there's a difference between disconnecting from a match that has started and dodging a lobby, but it's basically the same mindset and not any "deeper" than that most of the time.

The OP shows why I never take items.
I have stacks of items and addons that I never bring for 2 reasons.
1) As soon as you bring something, you expect to use it. If you don't get to use it, it just upsets you. So why do it to yourself.
Also I feel people will try say 'oh but what about killer add ons'. Which is just stupid. Because if a killer doesn't like a lobby he'll dodge it. He can add certain perks if he wants to get the most of his offerings. The centre of power is where it always has been.
2) Because of the OP. Even if we assume hes a nice guy who doesn't bring the sweaty builds/addons just because he can and does only play sweaty when others play sweaty. It's still that mentality of 'well I only did, because you did' which is just pathetic. So it's best to baby the killers feelings in that regard while in lobby.

Enduring and spirit fury make isn't just as boring, especially since the items they brought weren't even that game breaking when you brought the best killer with his most boring to play against addons

I used to lobby dodge as I didnt want to use strong / unfun addons vs multiple items. These days I bring strong addons vs multiple items and its still my fault for ruining survivors fun.
I just cant win.
@hematophagy Was I supposed to bend over when I saw 3 toolboxes in lobby?
