Is there gonna be a winter event like last year?

Title. When my friend gifted me dbd last year it was the winter solstice event or something like that. Is there gonna be something similar like that this year?

Most likely, based on the Winter-y theme of the new cosmetics and Christmas Sweater posters, as well as the fact that Winter Solstice has always been extra BP and fireworks, meaning it won't be too difficult to do for the devs.

Didn't BHVR say not long ago that all events were being canceled while they worked on game balance?

I believe they said there wouldn't be any large scale events like Hallowed Blight, but considering that Winter Solstice is just a fancy menu screen with some new items in the Bloodweb it shouldn't be too bad.
