Cause of lag
Between my wife and I we have played several matches today. Haven't had any issues with lag at all except for one game. There was lag every few seconds. And sometimes the amount of time I would jump backwards when it happened was by far the most I have ever seen. At one point I rounded a corner, started working on a generator, did 2 skill checks and suddenly was standing back around the corner.
One funny thing happened. I was being chased and suddenly lag hit and I was standing behind the killer. He must have thought I had an experimental meta perk going .
Regardless, my question is what causes this. I didn't experience any lag before that match and haven't experienced any since. Was it some kind of server thing? If one of the other players in the match has bad internet will it make everyone else lag?

It's a known server bug where you can get desynced from it. They are working on a fix 😉.

Yeah, just had something like that today too.
Playing Doctor and was moving towards a survivor and then was instantly where I was 3 seconds ago.

Ok. Hope it gets fixed. It's difficult to play when your running into walls or facing the opposite direction you thought you were facing because you suddenly appeared where you were a few seconds back.
