How about a Viewmodel FOV slider?

Since an actual FOV slider would be unlikely to ever come to DBD I have started to wounder if we could mabye get a viewmodel FOV slider, or maybe an increase in base viewmodel FOV.

I main Ghostface and I really dislike how close his hands are to the camera while in Night Shroud. Inrcreasing the viewmodel FOV wouldn't do much outside of making the game look a bit nicer.

What do you think about it?

The FoV in this game is set for "balance" reasons.

FoV is terrible. If you are playing one of the tall killers, which is about 80% of the roster, unless you run Shadowborn or Monitor and Abuse, a survivor could stand at your fees and you wouldn't be able to see them. I'm all for a base FoV increase. You should watch some older videos before Shadowborn was nerfed. You could see so well.

I think (s)he's just referring to the viewmodel itself, not the game FOV. So just the player controller arms being set further or closer away, not affecting the *actual* FOV.

I'd be down, there's no real reason not to, as that wouldn't give any advantage since it'd just be aesthetic, since it's only moving the model a bit. There are several arms I wish were just a little further away from the screen. It'd be a nice QOL thing.

I am indeed refering to the viewmodel fov and how close the killer's hands/weapons are to the camera. This has nothing to do with actual FOV

The Killer model blocking vision is part of it. Weapon wipe as well.
