I’m really hating this game.
I any game recommendations other than this bum game right now.
I like a game the required some grind, balanced, less bugs, creativity, Objective , repetitive gameplay but different out comes, and new content.
Current Play: Fortnite: Save The World as my Main game and I really enjoy it and it’s so much fun especially the story telling and the lore. So much better than the frustration of DBD.
I’m sick is tired of the no brain cell survivors AND These boosted killer who think they’re gods at the game.
II’m just straight up done playing DBD unless matchmaking gets fixed when I’m playing killer and I’m play with a full SW only. I will never recommend this game to anyone.
My recent match I gotta me to this point as I can no longer take this community. It’s awful.
I had a spirit with (Hex: Ruin, No Escape Death, Haunted Ground BBQ and an Ebony Mori)
The Spirit Literally just tunneled the random survivor off the hook at 5 gens with BT (GAME JUST STARTED!) and moried them. Already 1 man down Ruin gets pop at 3 gens next guy get hook than unhook instantly start tunneling him at 3 gens than Moried. 1 gens left here she comes after me got down get hooked. random survivor finish last gen as I got picked up and hooked Spirit has BBQ. Random saves pulls me off hook , adrenaline kick in and boom down to NOED next Random survivor goes down to NOED.
Like at this point I’m already angry like I should’ve just Left the match after the first guy died instantly, but I’m like no we got this maybe it’s just an ivory. like I’m just trying to play causally and get BP and I get these types of bum ass killers lIke every other game. Then “NOT NEW” the spirit has the audacity “LIKE EVERY OTHER KILLER” brag how better they are then us because they got a 4k even though she got overkill perks and items and Offering.
The Spirit just egging messages like you suck and you died EZ game I gotta 4k cause I’m better than you. Get good. Still bragging how they 4ked.
like sit your ass down and wipe the sweat off your face with the towel. Im just trying earn BP.

The spirit probably made less point then y'all as well. Besides you can just get back to fortnite or any other game. Take a break if you need to.

If you're frustrated, take a break.
If it still frustrates you, maybe it's time to try something else.

How about a bit of Civilisation i played it a lot in my vacation it's a good game.

I think you need to deal with moris differently, in my opinion they can make the game last longer and also fun if you know how to deal with them.
If there are only three of you left priority are gens; you need to make at least four so the hatch spawns, then forget about gens for a while and become very stealthy and look for the hatch for an alternative exit and lead your team to it when you see them so at least one of you can escape.
Sometimes you won't have to wait until three gens are done before the hatch spawns.
After that your priority are chests: you need to be very stealthy, do not run, do not leave scratchmakrs and look for a key, you might get lucky. You will make the killer nervous, probably a bit mad because he will be wandering around the map looking for you for a while.
Once you all know where the hatch is return to the gen or two last gens. The killer will have to chase one of you and maybe buy you enough time to power up the exit gates.
Once they are powered you need to be stealthy again to mindgame the exit gate, do not rush it; stop opening them when you reach the s of escape, then go find the other gate and do the same. One of you could eventually open one of them because the killer can't protect both of them at the same time nor chase someone and mori someone while someone else finish opening the gates, which now most likely will be you if you do what I'm saying.
I know it may sound tedious or boring, but it can be done (I've done it) and it's very satisfying to escape an ebony mori.
This is the only productive advice or thing I can say about this, you need to adapt to the situation and have a different strategy, you can't just run around the map trying to loop a killer who could potentially have an ebony mori.

I agree. Killers are so ######### broken because devs are trying to balance them around SWF.
Playing solo is awful. Especially vs sweaty tunneling killers. Who then come on here to cry when they dont 4k every game because of decisive strike or some other perk that exists because killers are busted.

While I don't have any game recommendations for you I would suggest taking a break if "I'm really hating this game" Heck, I am currently in break mode due to the amount of game ERRORS going on recently so I'm just playin me dark souls.

I wish there were more games out there that interest me.
It’s not just one game. I play on PS4 and it’s like every other game this type of crap happens. I’m just really tired of it. It’s so unoriginal at this point. When I play killer I get a full lobby of Red Rank sweaty survivors trying escape as fast as possible “Gen Rush” barely making blood points maybe 3 or 4 hooks. (I’m rank 12/13 BTW)
I like to play casual games.
And when I play survivor I get a whole bunch of tunneling and proxy camping killers desperate for a survivor to kill and think that they are god at the game after they killed them that way.

Grind - It's not that bad, but it is kinda silly that we have to grind so much to unlock the same things over and over again. Still, not that bad at all, and you get plenty of fun stuff out of it too.
Balanced - I think they do a good job of balancing the game for the most part, but they need to get much much faster at it. I don't know if they need to like hire a bunch of new staff or what, but what ends up happening now is they nerf things that DO need it but the problem is they end up taking all the fun out of the character at the same time or nerf them way too much- OR a killer comes out and is already weak as it gets. Then, while they make balance tweaks somewhat regularly and get things into a decent spot, but they still have huge problems that need fixing that take FOREVER, EVEN YEARS TO FIX.
That's nuts, the stuff that ends up getting done I've seen other developers do in like months, but it takes them years.
Take legion for example, after all the changes he's going to need a total rework now, because it's obvious the deep wounds injury aspect of him is going to just need to go, in order for him to get more fun and effective/interesting mechanics....and we may have to wait another year for that to ever even start being looked at.
Bugs - Okay so the game is buggy, but to be fair, most of the bugs are not THAT bad. When they are, they are usually rare or patched out pretty quickly. Take the basement bug it was major and happened almost every time and was fixed in like a day. Still, the game has soooo many bugs, but it's fully functional in all aspects with only the occasional game breaker that you can just leave a match and restart the client and it's right as rain for a long time again.
Creativity - I think they are very creative....they just....don't work very fast. I am sure whatever they are doing to Doctor will be creative and very fun, probably make him much more interesting. Just it takes sooo long.
Objective - Yeah, the objectives for survivor are really boring. Holding M1 on a generator for like a minute or two... Most people I tried to get into the game were bored of this pretty quick as well. Especially when they realized they had to mash the space bar on hook, they were just like "This is stupid, I'm sorry but it's just stupid" and uninstalled. It's not for everyone, the enjoyable aspects of the game are mostly found in the mind.
Repetitive - Yeah....but you don't have to play it EVERY day either. I usually just do my dailies each day now, some challenges, or play when friends invite me to play with them, that kind of thing. Survivor is a lot less repetitive when you play with good friends, and I wouldn't say killer is Repetitive at all.
Community - Oh yeah, they can be toxic as all hell, but I'll be honest i play both survivor and killer- and even with new players that don't know any better I RARELY have toxic players. I get some sass in chat but I ignore it, but beyond that I don't really have tunneling/camping killers, and if they have a mori you can literally just let them kill you and there is no penalty for it remember, and if they don't you can just leave with no penalty, as long as you are not leaving every game you've earned the right to leave those one kind of matches that you just can't stand to play. I stick it out, but not everyone is the same.
As for player abuse, I find that it's not a problem until you get one of those SUPER toxic SWF groups, you know the ones and they are BAD. They make you want to quit playing the game- and worst of all they know EXACTLY how to do it so that they will never get punished for it, how to insult you and stay within the not punishable behavior realm. It's disgusting, these are the worst people. Thankfully it's like 1 in maybe 50 matches sometimes more before I run into these kind of people.
Most are actually VERY nice, I generally give hatch to last person when I mori, and end up with generally polite or entirely silent folks in post game lobby. Sometimes i take a mori and don't use it at all cause they are playing well and imo it's worth it to see their reactions in post game when you don't mori when you could have.
Some of the mods can be problematic too. There is one who english is not their primary language, and a guy was passively aggressively insulting everyone, but he seemed to have a hard time catching that. I said "This guy is being a jerk to people" or something to that effect when I reported them- and they gave ME a warning for saying "Jerk" in the report box - but never the guy who was demeaning and harassing other people. If people looking into game chats have the same kind of problems, it's no wonder a lot of the really toxic people in the game, as rare as they are, get to continue to behave that way with no repercussions.
Matchmaker/Ranking - I added this one because you missed it, but imo it's the actual worst problem in the game. It's super unfair, and if you reach rank 7 just by doing OKAY in a few matches, you get like nothing but rank 2 SWF red ranks cause of queue time equalizer- which means you could have like 20 hours as killer and it's time to go against the 2000+ hour SWF teams that Otz and Tru3 and them all play against, what the hell is that about? They can't do anything about it really because they don't have enough players to narrow the brackets significantly or anything. Our only hope is they add some sort of match equalizer down the road; where folks can earn more or something by taking handicap objectives when they are winning really bad, or something like that.... but it will never happen so yeah....
Those are my thoughts on the game state anyways, take it all with a grain of salt.

You're kind of insulting the great Killers out there that do. Me and my friends (when we do play together) have gotten CRUSHED by really good Billy's and Spirit's. Idk if its just you, but there are Killers out there very well qualified and capable of destroying SWF's. Most likely have more experience than most.

Well sure I just believe they can't crush survivor teams of equal skill level. I believe if the survivor team is good enough, they still have a fair chance to win against an incredibly good Billy or Spirit. Spirit's counterplay is quite luck based though.

I can see where you're coming from but I'm just going to agree to disagree. I've seen some CRAZY Spirit and Billy's, not only against me but on streams, YouTube, ect. There are Killers that can hold their own against highly coordinated and skilled SWF's. It all depends on their playstyle and technique. Sure they sweat but they get it done and done well.

Lol. The grind is the worst I've ever seen in any game I've ever played.
To original poster's point. I agree. Killers seem to complain a ton, but I've kept track and one stretch very recently I survives once out of 18 games. Mostly some combo of swf, a few solo games mixed in between. It gets tedious after a while when most matches the killer just proxy camps repeatedly. I'm not saying you can't proxy camp, but with 5 gens left do killers really need to play like that? It's just boring.
But yeah, I've been playing more f13 lately, even though it's a broken piece of trash and the opposite happens there (too ez to escape). At least I can play a casual game instead of a bunch of red rank early match proxy campers.

Dude i still feel you. I've lost 20+ matches in a row, because I am horribly bad at this game but it puts me against the SAME SURVIVORS that it puts Otz, Tru3, Jund- etc against most games.
Rank 2 red SWF or folks with like 2000+ hours.
Like I can't play the game at all, after being a punching bad so many matches in a row I am honestly about to just uninstall and move on, I can't do anything anyways so there is no point in trying to.

You do realize once you hit rank 1, the game penalizes you for NOT getting a 4k right? So, the problem is with the point system. You can't be mad at rank 1 killers for wanting to win, and unfortunately 4k'ing is the only way with the way it's setup.

Well don't get me wrong. I'm not saying those players with serious skill can't win against these kind of survivor teams. I think they have a good chance to win. I'm just saying that survivor teams of equal skill have just as much of a chance of winning against the killer.
If you are saying that these killer players can destroy even the best swf teams no matter what, then we need to agree to disagree. But I understand where you are coming from. Some killers really seem insane in the right hands. I just believe that equally skilled survivor players still have a chance against killers like that.
