New rank system sucks as killer

Ok I'm a rank 10 killer. Pretty new to killer actually. Can someone please explain why every match i'm in the survivors are red ranks. Alot of of times they are rank 5, exactly rank 5 no higher. This sucks! Im not a red rank killer. I thought the rank reset change was going to be good for us. This is trash. Its 10x's worse than before. At least before I knew at rank reset I would get people around my skill level. I dont care about 4K's everytime. But I dont want this either. At least untill I'm at their skilll level. I cant be the only one experiencing this right?😢

if you expected new rank reset to fix that, youre rly new to the game

and dont worry about playing vs red rank survivors, survivors pipping system is such bs they are pipping up pretty much every game (even semi afk survs) so there is even more bots on red ranks than ever, and new rank reset only makes them dont drop from red ranks so soon (if not now) majority of survivors will be in red ranks (except those that play like 10games per month)

I don't think it's a ranking system problem, I think it's more like a lack of killers problem. It seems that they decided to change the ranking system when nobody is interested in playing killer anymore.

I can confirm; I used to play enough matches as killer during the season to make it to rank 5 or 4, but I just don't find playing killer very fun anymore so I barely made it to rank 8 after the last rank reset.

It is bad matchmaking not rank related. The same happens tho, you as a red rank killer get matched with rank 10's and 15's

Survivor red ranks are filled with tons of potatoes who don't belong there. Many are green ranks at best, but since it much easier to rank up + rank reset has no impact anymore it shouldn't matter to you (besides those who are real red ranks, but they are rare to encounter).

Devs decided that people that don't know how to play the game at high level should reach the high level.

Thanks to them you can now get ######### on together with other killers that didn't acquire enough game knowledge.

Not as many people play killer at red ranks because that's where the really good survivors, especially SWF groups, can make the killer's experience miserable. So they tend to get paired with lower rank killers unfortunately.

Pretty much this.. I intentionally depip just so I can enjoy playing as killer.

I learned to deal with good survs and climbed to r1, regardless of the mm. It's really painful, but it works i guess.
