Please don't nerf hag
It's happening again boyos and ladieos, nurse got nerfed so the spirit got discussed. The spirit got nerfed so freddy was discussed. Freddy got add on nerfs and now it's hag thats gonna be discussed.
And the main thing I'm seeing is that she can place her traps on hooks. Because you know. If you see her set it and your teammates know it's a hag then it's unreasonable to counter this one strategy by crouching. Nearly all of her add ons are usable (minus grandma's heart. But only because that's confusing as hell for me to play around. But monto did it so clearly it must be good :kappa:) and she's fun to bip around the map with.
She's probably the most balanced killer after demogorgon, her 110% speed and slow set up justify the potentially insane chase potential.
Instead focus on buffing killers. Like Doctor with his litteral electrical nuke

Yeah I just saw that. Seriously though, you can find people complaining about every single killer in the game. That doesn't mean they are going to get nerfed

Hag isn't popular and many people who play her are bad anyway. If she was more popular then she'd have highest kill rate in the game.

I don’t see what would warrant the hags nerf because her 110% movement speed and huntresses both pardon them from nerfs IMO.
Also the fact that you can completely counter her using small game.

A trap distance nerf is the only thing thats still needs to be done, cause you know, its not fun if you get traped by a trillion traps around your hook and theres a zero escape chance. Complaining about nerfs that are needed since ages just shows how biased you are and do not understanding balance at all.

IMO, it's always been about adaptation with all killers.
Billy running around the map with insta saw add-on's? Hug them jungle gyms and loop corners to force them to M1.
Trapper Trapping your favorite loops/god loops/pallets? Disarm them after he places them down, or pay attention to the disarm prompts, avoid grass areas and the heaviest traffic areas/loops he's likely trapped.
Plague destroying you and your team whenever someone cleanses at a fountain? Stop cleansing at fountains and focus on objectives whether you are broken by the sickness or not.
Hag is a killer that has some definite advantages, but again isn't so bad that she can't be adapted to. The rework to Urban Evasion back in the day for example, practically killed the old gal because of how popular the perk became, and now while it's not nearly as meta as it was back then, it's still a solid 1 perk counter to her and a decent perk advantage against most killers. I'm not saying everyone should equip it, just that because of the change to it, its sudden rise in popularity in the aftermath of the change led to a dramatic drop in Hag players. That's not so much the case anymore, but since she's hard to learn to use correctly, Hag is one killer that has become harder to adapt to only because she's also one of the least played killers.
Her recent stats proved that she has a high success rate, but also one of the lowest pick rates... Why is this true? Why would a killer with such a High success rate be one of the least played killers? Simple... She's difficult to play correctly, and has many counters, so most killer players give up after their first few tries, and inversely due to the low play rate, not enough survivors have learned how to adapt to her playstyle and fall easily to the killers who actually have learned to use her. This Makes playing solo against her feel oppressive and unfair, because while she is most powerful against the inexperienced, she's easily thwarted and abused by the experienced and prepared. If more Killer players used Hag, and took the time to get good with her, it really wouldn't take very long for the survivor community to pick up how to counter her and start winning regularly.
Her long setup time, her slow movement speed, her crazy bad loop-ability, and her weakness to flashlights, crouching, and certain perks make her a killer with many counters, but because she isn't played as much, people are often caught off guard by her and make posts like this one because they or their team didn't adapt.
This becomes especially true When you come up against a killer Player who has taken the time and effort to get good with using her, and all the more relevant because of survivors inexperience against her or refusal to adapt when in reality, she's really isn't as OP as (@DudeDelicious 's discussion) previously stated. Honestly, Hag only feels overpowered right now simply because she's one of the least played killers. Due to this, not enough of the survivor community has adapted to her like they have against Killers like Billy, Spirit, Ghost Face, Trapper, or Freddy, and so I'm predicting this now:
When the Tome that focuses on Hag and Ace comes out, we'll see a huge influx of posts demanding Hag nerfs at first... swiftly followed by an equally as large amount asking for buffs to her because of how quickly everyone adapts.
In the meantime, if you come across a Hag: Learn from it, Adapt as best you can, Lead by example, and soon enough you'll discover that she really isn't as big of a threat as the more viable killers out there. Playing solo, this will be difficult to accomplish due to her rarity and the majority of survivors inexperience with her; in SWF this will be easy as pie to accomplish because of better communication and coordination.
Overall, its ironically her Rarity that makes her strong, but that doesn't mean she's "over-performing" and needs to be nerfed, it just means that survivors haven't had enough experience to adapt to her.

It's actually easy to understand why people may feel this way given the recent nerfs and BS that they have been doing to Killers lately.
It's not completely crazy for people to think in these ways at this point.

The stats show that like 3 people play Hag.
She's not gonna get touched at all. There are many higher priority killers.

The truth is, this game is almost impossible to balance while there isn't a balanced ranking system, and for that it would have to be turned into a competitive game otherwise the data wich they balance the game from will always be currupted and there's the swf problem too...

Which is the sequel in this never-ending hag over-reaction, but I'll post it here to now:
The entire history of this over-reaction:
One person said they hate playing against the hag solo.
Another person said they better not nerf the hag because of the above person saying they hated playing the hag solo.
This thread gets made due to the above thread. Unless someone can show otherwise they Devs never once mentioned nerfing the hag. The most they ever said about the hag is that she is one of the most rarest killers to fight against. This is not the sound of an upcoming nerf.

Sorry, can't help with that as much as I would like to. That needs to come from the devs by adjusting the ranking and matchmaking system! It's not your team mates fault that they can get to high ranks either. I get your pain because I also get it sometimes by being teamed up with worst survivors than me and I also give pain to others when I'm paired up with much better survivors than me. The problem is that (ignoring the fact that everyone can have a perfect game or a terrible game every now and then) inside the same rank color there's a big diference between players and it shouldn't be that big.
