Impossible challenge for solo at high ranks...
"Unhook someone after the end game collapse has started"
EVERYONE at high ranks 99% the doors... They only open them if it's safe to escape... THIS IS A HIGH RANK STRATEGY.
Either I'm a DB and open the door or I won't get this challenge completed...
I know that I could just "open the door", but I believe it's just a bad thing to do, we don't do this, it's a basic high rank rule... Maybe if it got changed to "unhook someone after the 5th gen has been repaired" that would solve the problem

Then just open the door?

You can always just open the door... maybe it's a bad play, but who cares?🤷♂️

Am I the only one who actually cares for other people's experience and game enjoyment...?

Sure its not highly optimal to open the Door, but overall, it is still 4 minutes after that. And sometimes it is even better, when the Survivors can run to the Door which is already open to bodyblock.

I mean, I know this is what I have to do to get it done, or maybe SWF but I don't like this... That's my only problem... When someone does this egocentric challenge based dumb actions to me I really get annoyed... Remember survivors runing around like fools scaring crows?

Honestly, I think it is only a dumb action when you farm the guy on the Hook just to get your challenge done. If you get him out, everything is fine.
If it's stupid but it works it ain't stupid

This. It's a "bad" play because of bloodwarden and the egc, but even if that's the case you need to take the risk.

You're not stopping their enjoyment.
They will do exactly the same as they would if the door was closed, go for the save, run for the door.
It just happens that it's open now.

From most of the posts I've seen on this forum - yes.

These challenges have encouraged a lot of people to play poorly just for the challenges. It can be done at high ranks - I did it. But it's situational so it won't be easy.

Almost feels like the point of the vast majority of these challenges are in the vein of "play badly." Just do it... everybody else will be.

Nah. Not impossible.
I did it at high rank.

I do tend to agree and why I never go out of my way to do the challenges.
I've still not finished tomb 2 for this very reason. I just don't feel like the majority add to the game play but instead detract from it and I really dislike having to do X in one match especially.
It took me over 20 matches to do the drop 25 pallets in a chase for example.
It was always my fear when they announced these challenges after seeing the ones in Deathgarden.

I did this challenge yesterday. It took me around 7 games. Just keep playing and you will get it.
For me I dont focuse to much on the challenge I have. They will be then much easier or lets say, it feels easier because you play without stressing yourself.

Not that big of a deal just to open the door. If a survivor is in the process of being hooked, then definitely wait until after they get hooked but it is fine to open them after that.

This guy

It ain't that deep. The slowed timer is very generous, and if you play in way that allows you to take the heat for your team you can get your challenge and sacrafice yourself in the process if you really think the EGC is going to lead to a total team wipe.
Also guess what--by dying at the end of the game (a game which probably ended with 4 survivors alive with only 1 on the hook), you'll probably give the killer a sliver of satisfaction at the end of a game that has been pretty rough for them.
So, look at that, you can get your challenge and prove definitively that you 'care about another persons experience and game enjoyment'.

Totally agree, unhooks after exit gates are powered should be the challenge, and not EGC. If NOED procs when 5th gen is done then I don't see why this can't count

Thats probably one of the easier challenges in the actual Rift. 2 survivor was a issue, buts one survivor is more than fine, cause you could just influence it by yourself if someone got hooked you just open the gates and go for the save. theres no difference in having the gates on 99% or opened. Theres still more than enough time to escape.
