slippery meat vs deliverance?
So the devs said they are trying to move away from perks that directly go against killers and one of the perks is obviously slippery meat so i dont know if that means its getting a rework. But right now im asking doesn't deliverance make slippery meat kinda useless?

Hey bud. Never use slippery unless you have a specific meme build or a new meta build otherwise deliverance is really good as long as your not hooked first as you won't get to use it. You don't really need it when you have 3-4 group but solo or 2man you might wanna consider it if your a low rank(14-20)

The part of Slippery Meat they were talking about is the 15/20/25% chance to escape from bear traps. It was one of the first perks in the game when there were only like 3 killers.

Slippery meat is really only useful if all 4 survivors are also running Up The Ante. Deliverance is much better alone, but it's still unreliable. At least when Deliverance fails to work, you don't lose a hook state

kinda useless, yes.

Doesn't have a safe unhook requirement, so it's not strictly worse than Deliverance.
It's definitely more of a meme perk though.

Yeah slippery meat might have been useful when the game was new and you had a good chance of running into Trappers. Now it's pretty useless - with deliverance it is obsolete.

You only use slippery meat when your bored and use it with up the ante and a salty lips

I really hope Slippery Meat gets completely re-worked at some point. Not only do I think it's a bad design because of the Bear Trap half, but I think the self-unhook half is just completely outclassed by Deliverance.

I used Slippery Meat to get the self-unhook achievement, because every time I equip Deliverance I get hooked first, never fails. So, personally, I prefer Slippery Meat.
