Is there going to be a Christmas event this year? Or no? If not, why?

No they said future events will all be tied to the rift.
They are doing a dbp on the 2nd of January.
It's really not worth doing an event when they are on a break for 2 weeks as if something breaks they don't have the staff around to fix it.
