Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

Give the Devs time to fix what needs fixing.

But when things take too long to be fixed or be implemented you have a right as a consumer to complain about it by voicing your opinion.

It's ignorant to assume the Devs are for some reason against the wants and the needs of the playerbase but longstanding issues are clearly things which frustrate and it's an abomination how certain things are swept under the carpet in general.

Having said that the Devs deserve a lot of credit for creating and maintaining a great healthy game which is attractive to all corners of horror media of all ages.

In short only give Devs stick when they probably deserve it, and have reasons to back up your opinion and be constructive about it rather than just throwing insults.

I figured as someone who is kinda sick and tired of how long certain things take to be added or fixed it's important to present your arguments in a civil manner which I feel like a lot of people forget or just aren't familiar with.

Also don't think you can do a better job at 'deving' than the Devs unless you are actually a dev yourself which a lot of you are not. It's a claim some people make and it's just disrespectful to those who supply you with entertainment that you've had with dbd.

My gripes with the Devs as of now: Console optimization is taking too long, no new game modes or second objective yet, dedicated servers limbo on console, matchmaking derping out, perks which feel abandoned (MoM). These are pretty much the only things I can complain about if they are still problems down the line.

So be nice and only complain about things which are genuinely bothersome towards you and don't be petty.

Devs are on vacation. They told everyone "NO WINTER EVENT" and they were taking a break. Probably NOT a bad idea tbh. If it gives them 3 weeks off to take a break and to come back to fix things. I'd be happy with this.

Maybe decide NOT to DC ban, but come up with some NEEDED fixes so the game is appealing to MORE survivors, so killers can have their Que times fixed. =p.

Hopefully they’ll actually focus on game health and bug fixing rather than cosmetic after cosmetic and a spicy battle pass on top with a dash of more cosmetics. But past that I hope the devs have a great vacation and Christmas. ❤️
