Dead Hard monopoly
Nerfing Balanced Landing instead of reworking badly designed maps was a very short-sighted decision.
Holy #########, everyone, EVERYONE runs Dead Hard. Everyone now greedy as hell, playing m1 and not only killers is exhausting.
Only sometimes I can see Sprint Burst Survivors.
And so barely can see other exhaustion perks. For some reason Lithe is ignored greatly.

i dont know at which ranks you play, but i see all the different exhaustion perks and i dont see why Balanced Landing shouldnt have been nerfed.
The maps will eventually get reworked anyway, but it's not only a Balanced Landing issue there.

Red Ranks almost always run Dead Hard to be greedy at pallets..

While I agree maps are the main issue, BL limited their map design with how it could be abused and needed to be tweaked.
People like DH because it can give you one extra loop or let you take a risky play and completely recover.

Well Dead Hard is the strongest sure, but i dont see that much dead hards

Dead Hard doesn't create infinites. The only nerf i could see being made is to give it an action delay once it's over, so you can't just dead hard to a pallet and get an instant safety net.

Dead Hard has its issues too. 1/3 of the time I use it, it doesn’t go off because the killer’s hit already registered, but I still get exhausted anyways. I don’t think it’s all that great personally.

People don’t use lithe a lot because it only activates after a vault, by then you are already safe.
Second, it can force you to leave a strong loop like some of the T wall combos, or stay at the loop and waste the speed boost.

I've seen a sprint burst comeback since balanced landing nerf. Sprint burst was never really bad tbh, it just sorta forced you to walk a bit to hold it (unless you use the holding exploit).

I mean, Survivors dont have many Meta-Perks. So removing one will result in another Perk taking its place. This happens with Dead Hard. Its annoying, I would also prefer to use Balanced Landing, but I guess its fun to see the same Perk Builds over and over again (especially with now good Survivor Perks coming for like the last 5 Chapters or so).

Maybe I worded that poorly. Holding sprint burst and then releasing it while walking is not an exploit. Activating it mid chase (While running) due to some strange interaction with specific survivor items is.

Some maps were problematic because of Balanced Landing, reworking tons of maps just in fuction of one perk would've been stupid.
Also, Dead Hard has always been widely used. People like to choose when to activate their exhaustion perk.

Sincerely, I barely see people running Dead Hard anymore. I guess it's because of Dedicated Servers.

I've seen alot more SB users since the BL nerf, but I still see decent amount of BL. Was EXPECTING everyone who was using BL to swap to dead hard, but thats not really whats happening from what I'm seeing.

Ah yeah, that thing. This is fixed, luckily, so I thought you were talking about holding it at 99%, walking shortly and using it then.

It's all good. But I don't know if that issue is fixed 100%. Could've sworn I've seen some survivors (all with items) run during chase and then somehow activate sprint burst still.

If it’s at 99, like really 99% the walk is so fast it looks that way. Maybe there’s a bug but some of the better SB users make it look perfect. I can’t get that close I’m afraid to waste it

The one true exhaustion perk is head on, all others fall to it's glory.
I do see dead hard as the current most used exhaustion perk, but is was that way after the exhaustion rework and before people realized how broken balanced was. I also see people run none of the big 4 (DH, SB, BL, Lithe), like myself quite often now.

I stink at DH, I was bad using it before the dedicated servers so I use sprint burst to help myself get to a safe loop if I’m working on a gen in a bad spot
