Mad grit and unrelenting
So I was thinking of some perks I could put together and see if they can work and something that came up was using unrelenting and mad grit? Would they work together and you can easily use both to transport survivors to the hook you want or will they not work together?

Mad grit already completely removes any cool downs from missing a slash. I feel unrelenting would be completely ignored while carrying a survivor.

Would be hilarious if it made you recover faster somehow. Like maybe they used additive values and your recover speed is 130% lol.

Maybe it does and no one has noticed it. Still, with how fast you can swing with mad grit on its own, you wouldn’t need any other boost.

I mean technically mad grit doesn't effect the cool down on swings that hit obstacles so unrelenting would effect those swings? Technically a use but definitely not worth a perk slot

Technically they would work together, but they wouldn't synergise in any way. Unrelenting would only do anything if you weren't carrying a survivor.
It's kind of like using Botany Knowledge and We'll Make It together as a survivor. Even though BK isn't completely useless because it comes in handy when self-healing or if WMI isn't active, it would still be strange to use both perks together because they don't stack and one somewhat neutralises the effectiveness of the other.

wait.. botany knowledge doesn't stack with we'll make it?
my whole life was a lie

Yup. Healing speed caps at 200%. Using we'll make it means you get no speed boost from any other healing perks or medkits.

i don't know what to say anymore... i'm very confused right now.

Cetren beat me to it, lol. We'll Make It on its own boosts healing speed by 100%, so it doesn't stack with anything else that boosts healing speed.
If we're being really technical, it's not actually that healing speed is capped at 200%, it's that the maximum amount of bonus healing speed you can get is 100% (so for example, WMI and BK wouldn't stack even if a perk like Sloppy Butcher were in play, which reduces healing speed to 80% - in that case, the speed would just be increased to 180% instead of 200%).
Of course, as I mentioned, you can still use Botany Knowledge when We'll Make It isn't active, but the two don't directly stack with one another.

I think it even says on the perk itself that healing bonus is capped at a 100%

They did previously stack, but that was a long time ago. Like 2016 kind of long time ago. Also, I wouldn't rely on the Steam forums for accurate information unless it's coming directly from a developer.
