How are Michael and Laurie still in the entity realm?

    Same reason why Steve and Nancy are here. Alternate timelines, branching choices and decisions, etc.

    There is no mention of alternative timelines anywhere in this game. In fact in every licensed dlc they follow the original storyline.

    There is. None of the films state that they were taken to a mysterious realms. Its a different timeline where the exact events of the movies happen, but they are snatched by the entity in the end. The only exception I can think of is the SAW chapter. Both characters there are snatched after death so there is no evidence of a timeline difference.

    Where do they mention it? And why would films mention the entity? Pretty much every character is grabbed by the entity after the ending of movie/show following the exact events that happened there.

    Nightmare's chapter can be canon too to the film universe as there hasn't been a sequel and the disappearance of Quentin and Freddy happens after the film takes place.

    SAW's can loosely be canon as in SAW V it shows Tapp in the police force memorial service. But we never know if his body was recovered. However the following license chapters/paragraphs are in no way shape or form canon:

    HALLOWEEN (Laurie and The Shape (Michael))

    Left Behind (Bill) - You can find his body in The Passing in L4D2.

    Leatherface (The Cannibal)

    Ash vs Evil Dead (Ash)

    And of course STRANGER THINGS (Steve, Nancy and Demogorgon)

    Ghostface's appearance is canon as the mask is the only licensed part of him. The character behind the mask is an original character by BHVR.
