How is this not fixed yet?
I'm going to be honest if this wasn't happening I would be playing Dead by Daylight more frequently and longer but this is just ridiculous.
This year I've been constantly experiencing very long waiting for matches so long that I started watching YouTube videos so I don't bore myself to death.
I'll go straight to the point: waiting almost 10 minutes to get ######### survivors with sweaty killer or to get sweaty survivor against very low rank killer is not fun gameplay.
If I somehow ended up rank 1 and waited long time to get a ballanced game with everyone trying I wouldn't mind but wait more than 5 minutes to get a rainbow color with killer having grey color is not fun it's boring.
And that's not it, the queue times shouldn't even be this long...
Why? because everytime I look at Dead by Daylight steam charts I see on average 30 000 players playing at the moment but the queue times and frequently matching up with same players both survivors and killers makes me think that I'm playing with just my country or few neibhour countries....
This should be one of the first things fixed...

There are a lot more Survivors than Killers right now. Most people do not find Killer enjoyable, either that or the MM is more ######### than we realized.

I'm only speaking from personal experience. On both PS4 and Xbox R1, it takes about 10 seconds to find a Killer lobby.
For Survivor, it takes upwards of 10 minutes

you should be happy on your consoles cause finding a game here on PC is matter of few minutes every time and for killer it can be even 10 minutes

What rank? As red rank killer i have instant lobbies as killer the only time that i actually have to wait when I do play killer is when it is morning.

That is where I play, so I can only speak for that particular group.
My brother does tell me that Rank 15-20 q's are a nightmare.

Sorry I thought you meant all ranks. Even at purple ranks both queues are instant but red rank survivor even solo queue takes 5+ mins. I play on xb1 btw.

Maybe rank 18 on killer could be the reason but what about survivor? I'm roughly rank 10 that should be most people at right?

No no, I can only speak for my own rank. I don't know anything about purple or green q's.

Yes, Rank 18 will take a very long time.
As for Rank 10, there could be a lot of Green rank Survivors and not a lot of Killers, I do not know.

Usually or the way it was is that from 16-20 rank is regarded as noob rank. People who start with the game, however when you keep playing the game you will get out of those ranks quite fast as ranking up is very easy. Keep playing at peak times so you might not get put against red ranks and with a little bit of luck get to go against people of your rank/skill.
Afterwards you will find lobbies way faster.
