Why is this a de-pip?
So I was chased most of the game, got hooked twice did half a gen then escaped, why should I de-pip for that?

Under the emblems there is info on what you are being penalized and rewarded for, so check that out next time

Short chases, bc hooked lost those chases.
Got hooked twice.
Didn't save anyone or omitted saying so.

It was kinda laggy, I kept getting hit as I ran away from pallets I vaulted.

Got hooked twice - most you can get is a gold emblem
No altruistic actions - poor altruistic quality
Silver evader - obviously you weren't very good at being chased if you only have silver

It was kinda laggy, I kept getting hit as I was running away from a pallet. I was the only person hooked. Everyone split up and I was always getting chased so yeah, I did half a gen.

Need to Unhook twice safely and heal someone once, 2 gens, stealth or get chased momentarily. That's how you pip without issue.

Being a Red rank survivor requires you to do certain amounts of things. You can get chased all game and you wont safety. Even with the changes to lightbringer chances are you wont safety either if you get hit or downed if your just being chased.
How bad of a killer are you to have to chase the key all game.

So tell me how did you do well you did half a objective? Chances are everyone in that game either depiped or safety.
If the killer does bad then you have less unhooks which means less chances to earn points. So if one side dominated chances are both sides lose in the match result.

I’m not saying I did well, you should never de-pip for everyone escaping or killing everyone. I’m not asking to pip, just not to de-pip.
We apparently did good enough to escape so why should we be punished for matchmaking.

Chase emblems are completely broken, I got chased for like 5 minutes during a game, and only got bronze because the killer never lost chase and downed me in the end

tho it's hard to analyze if you deserve or not that de-pip without seeing the match itself

Cause matchmaking is way to strict on both sides.

"other side played bad" - did 4 gens without your help
there is no such thing as pipping because your team is bad it's tracking you how you played it doesn't compare your performances (maybe only first emblem works like that)

Yeah. I mean realistically if the killer focuses on you what can you do? It does seem unfair to depip for it.

How did I not help? I got chased while they did those. I said the killer played bad, obviously my team played well.

It does count the other side tho based on hooks and unhooks. Same with the chaser emblem tho stealth works. Literally half your emblems require the other side to be competent.

So how do you get benevolent, evader, gatekeeper, devout, malicious, and chaser emblems without having to deal with the other team? I mean if none of these emblems require the other side what have I been doing wrong as a Survivor or Killer?

Because the emblem system is inherently flawed.
Just gotta keep on keeping on till we get something better. Hopefully.

The Emblem system is a mess right now. I'd love to know what went through the devs' minds when they were implementing the changes in 2.6.0.

Same reason why I got a 2K and depipped because the survivors gen rushed and I was using Plague.
