Yet another Balanced Survivor Suggestion
As the title says...
As someone who likes playing Left 4 Dead from time to time, I felt like Coach should be included in the game.
Taken from: https://left4dead.fandom.com/wiki/Coach
Name: Coach
Gender: Male
Age: 44
Description: "Coach has a big heart and a healthy appetite, and a wicked swing with a chainsaw. After a knee injury ended his career as a defensive lineman in college, Coach salvaged his Physical Education degree (barely) and landed a job teaching health at the local high school in his hometown of Savannah.
Working as a defensive coordinator for the freshmen tour team might not have been the best path to a pro coaching career; but it’s come in pretty handy in guiding a group of Survivors to safety. Coach has watched his beloved hometown get ravaged by infected—now it’s time to deliver his own brand of Southern hospitality."
Perks:
"Protection": Upon taking a protection hit, immediately stun the killer for 5 seconds and reveals your aura to the killer for 5 seconds afterwards. Protection causes the Exhausted status effect for 60/50/40 seconds. Protection increases your chance to be the obsession.
"Signal": When survivors are within 16 meters, they see your aura and gain the Haste status effect, moving at increased 6/7/8% speed
"Cheeseburger": When injured, you unlock the ability to heal yourself for a token; pulling out a cheeseburger, immediately heal yourself to the healthy state. Cheeseburger has 2/3/4 tokens and consumes one token when healing.

Reduce signal range to like 16 meters. Cheeseburger needs a rework. Protection is cool.

The character would be down to Valve allowing BHVR to use him, but I'd love to see him included. He was one of my favourtes. As for Perks, Protection sounds good. Would certainly help against the more campy killers, but Signal and Cheeseburger could be abused easily. You could just have people with Signal nearby another survivor in a chase and boom, they get away easily. If they maybe had a cooldown, then they would work a little better, but overall I like the idea

Two survivors being pressured with one chase is good for the killer. Get hours please.

All 3 perks are a overpowered in one way or another. I like the ideas though just the strength is off the charts broken. This was never balanced. As a joke phenomenal if not your ideas of balancing DBD need to be relooked at. Love.your creativity tho.
Protection has no active downside while becoming the best body block or hook block perk in the game.4 survivors with the perk and a killer should never be able to hook a survivor. Free escape you say?
Signal is just a map wide inf movement speed buff that will enable weaker loops to become infinites because of vault speed. Straight up Killer nerf?
Cheeseburger basically a better Inner Strength with 4 immediate uses. Also insta needles just got nerfed so let's bring 4 into the game as a perk.

You assume I have barely played? I've played for a year now, with plenty of hours. All I point out is how easy it would be for a survivor with your idea of the speed boost to just hop over to a chased survivor and they're off. Coordinate it and they all boost off. As for other perks, they are too OP with no visable downside, hence the need for a cooldown period, otherwise, we'll have a insta-heal medkit issue back

Did you read my review on OP? Also, what else am I to assume when you think two survivors being pressured by one chase is good for the survivors.

Dude, he literally said "protection is cool" when it would allow auto-escapes for any carried survivor.
I don't think you should really concern yourself with their opinion of your game knowledge.

It causes exhaustion.

Signal and Cheeseburgers token count should be toned down and he'd be perfect :).
Perhaps similar to Bill, there will be more survivor outfits based off of the current missing L4D survivors.
Ace as Nick
And Adam as Louis.

Love the idea of Coach being in the game! I want the whole l4d crew tbh.
Creative perks but way too strong.

Protection seems fine and signal just needs to be in a very low range.

Protection would just have people bodyblocking every killer holding a survivor. Youd legit NEVER get a hook when they take turns taking a single hit for each other to escape. All in all, all 3 perks are OP as all hell, lol.

It's an exhaustion perk. Can't you read?
0 -
I read, just fine...point stands. I go down, killer cant get me cuz 1 teammate bodyblocks and stuns. She can either chase me or him, she chases me...his exhaustion gets to recover. She chases him...we got more teammates to body block.

If a team wants to run around without exhaustion perks trying to bodyblock that's fine for me. Easy 4k.

Youd basicly be looking at a sabo squad that doesnt need to actually sabotage hooks and basement not being an option. Its the same effect anyways with you getting downs but never being able to get anyone on a hook unless you slug them all first.

Shhhh....let it go - save your keystrokes.

I don't know who you think you are insulting me everywhere I post. I'm not some mindless biased main I am a person with ideas and ideals. The truth is exhaustion perks can't be abused no matter how strong you think they are.

The perk in question is not remotely balanced - A single use at the expense of 1 health state + exhaustion costs the killer a hook state, a wriggle free, a chase, a 5 second stun (allowing both survivors to get away). If the killer is not carrying a survivor, the perk is still op, open to abuse by SWF groups (preventing downs + stun + gain distance) via drive by protection hits.
Of course, it has the balanced counter play of "don't hit survivors that are bodyblocking you while praying you can get to the hook / hope that there aren't any nearby survivors when you hit someone while not carrying / hope no one cuts across while you are chasing."
Totally balanced and unabusable, thanks to Exhaustion! /s
It's absolutely mind-boggling to see anyone advocate that this would in any way be balanced, given all the uproar that Mettle of Man caused initially, even though it had less of an effect with a higher activation cost.
Unrelated - Have a safe and happy New Year :3

Ok 5 seconds is too much. Reduce it to Head On level and it's fine.

protection is literally overpowered
