State of Lithe
An idea to make it balanced with the other exhaustion perks. Just trying to give the unloved child more love. Would love to hear more ideas outside mine.
Lithe could give you a vaulting speed bonus like BL gave you the stagger reduction.
Like BL this would only work when not exhausted, unlike BL I don't think it should make it silent and -just for reference- I'm thinking of around 50% faster vault speed could be fine to make it both impactful and able to synergize with other action speed perks like Spine Chill and Resilience.
The problem with Lithe is that currently it doesn't help looping in any way, which should be the main goal of most survivors who are being chased. In addition to this, being hit while vaulting would waste the perk for that chase. A vault speed buff would make the first vault in a chase a lot more safer, giving you more choices in a chase. This way Lithe could both work like a Sprint Burst to just get to a pallet or a safer location, or like a Balanced Landing to make an otherwise deadly action safe.

Honestly I thought Lithe was already pretty strong. This change would be nice to see though.

I find lithe to be good on pallets that are complete garbage

SB and DH can keep you from having to play those pallets.

It is strong on paper. On practice tho, it doesn't help with looping as much as other exhaustion perks.
Sprint Burst basically lets you get to a pallet from wherever you are.
Balanced Landing makes the otherwise killer favoured dropdowns survivor favoured so you get more options in a chase.
Dead Hard is Dead Hard. It can be as useful as a new health state or good enough to get that little bit of distance to reach that pallet.
Head On... well its more fun that meta.
Lithe currently only works in some scenerios like getting away from an unsafe pallet. Its pretty situational compared to other exhaustion perks.
Yeah, its sometimes a life saver. Still situational though.

BL is a stealth perk. It has very little more use than Lithe in chase and is much more situational.

The Combination of Dance With Me + Lithe + Lucky Break.
Get injured, vault across the window and quickly run in a sprint - leaving no blood trails or scratch marks.

Lithe is more like Sprint burst in that you use it to gain distance and reposition yourself. Not really a looping tool, unless you're at an unsafe pallet like someone else mentioned. There are far more survivor perks deserving of buffs than an exhaustion perk.

You don't think it needs buffs because it's a worse SB? I guess you also think Premonition doesn't need a buff.

eh I don't like dead hard that much

Agreed that its a good perk to get distance. I'm suggesting a change to make it also viable in looping like other exhaustion perks. Lithe is currently nearly non-existant in around red ranks as far as Im seeing.
BL can be a really good looping perk too. Its way too dependent on the map as a trade off. Windows are normally survivor favoured, you can use them in a chase no matter what. Fall downs though, are heavily killer favoured. Using BL lets you use a dropdown each chase in your favour in addition to everything else. I can defend it from experience and from more experienced people I watch on Youtube.

Okay...how does that affect the viability of Lithe?

I'm not wasting a perk slot so I can feel safer in one or two spots on the map.

What does Sprint burst and dead hard have to do with the viability of lithe? You did bring them up first.
0 -
Well I was pointing out that they are more viable than Lithe.

Lithe is perfect as is and is one of the last perks that needs a buff right now. Removal of the chase requirement was the only change it needed.

Agreed

In some maps its a couple more areas, but they are reusable each chase so those spots could get you out of tricky situations or let you prolong a chase without the use of an additional pallet. Lithe does this too but even without Lithe windows are loopable, which is not the case with BL.
Also in some maps like Haddonfield and Hawkins, its litterally usable everywhere. There are some maps with nearly no places for BL though, so I can see your point.
Its not perfect, it lacks loop capability which is why its not being used in most high rank games. I agree that its not a priority though. This is more of a discussion about how it can be improved rather than a rant to the devs.

I already like Lithe the most out of all Exhaustion Perks, but it might incentivize me to actually use it for once.
